| Summary, etc. | This study aimed to investigate the effectiveness of mindfulness-based intervention <br/>programs on anxiety and resilience among nursing students. Setting: The study conducted <br/>at the Department of Nursing, Al-Quds University in Palestine. Design: A quasi-<br/>experimental pre-and post-test group was used. Sample: A stratified random sample <br/>consists of 100 nursing students. Tools: Three tools used for data collection including (1) a <br/>Socio-demographic and academic characterization sheet, (2) a Beck anxiety inventory, and <br/>(3) The adolescent resilience questionnaire. Results: There was an improvement in <br/>resilience among nursing students who attended mindfulness-based intervention program ( <br/>pre and post). After three months of follow-up, the percentage of students with moderate <br/>and high levels was changed to (3% & 96%). There was an improvement in anxiety among <br/>nursing students who attended the mindfulness program the percentage of students with <br/>mild levels of anxiety in pre- test was 16% which increased in post-test to 100% and <br/>100% after three months follow-up. The percentage of nursing students with moderate <br/>levels of anxiety in pre-test was 78% which decreased in post-test to 0% and 0% after <br/>three months of follow-up. There was a highly significant negative correlation between <br/>resilience and anxiety among nursing students at (r=-0.59 and p= 0.00). Conclusions: The <br/>mindfulness-based intervention program had a positive effect on improving resilience and <br/>reducing anxiety among nursing students. Recommendations: Design a psychoeducational <br/>program to be used as an effective, low-cost, and noninvasive intervention to improve the <br/>mental health and overall well-being of nursing students. |

| Summary, etc. | يعدّ التمريض مهنة إنسانية نبيلة، وركيزة أساسية في أي نظام رعاية صحية فعّال، وطلاب كلية التمريض هم بحق روّاد المستقبل في هذا المجال الحيوي، فهم الشباب والشابات الذين اختاروا طريق العطاء، وتكريس أنفسهم لخدمة الآخرين، وتثقيفهم بالعادات الصحية والمعارف الطبية فحسب، بل تتجاوز ذلك لتشمل صقل المهارات الحياتية، وتنمية الروح الإنسانية، وبناء القدرة على تحمّل المسؤولية.يواجه طلاب التمريض العديد من التحديات خلال مسيرتهم التعليمية. يتطلب الدراسة الجادة والمكثّفة التزامًا كبيرًا، فهم غالبًا ما يقضون ساعات طويلة في الدراسة والمراجعة، بالإضافة إلى فترات التدريب العملي المرهقة. كما أنهم يتعرضون لمواقف إنسانية صعبة، ويرون المعاناة والألم عن كثب، مما يتطلب منهم قدرًا كبيرًا من التعاطف والمرونة النفسية. عدا عن ذلك، فإن بذور المسؤولية في الدراسة الأولى، فهم يتعلمون أن أي خطأ، مهما كان بسيطًا، قد تكون له عواقب وخيمة على حياة المرضى، مما يغرس فيهم روح المسؤولية العملية والدقة المتناهية في أداء مهامهم. |
