Summary, etc. The primary aim of this thesis is to study the cyclic behavior of laterally loaded mono-piles <br/>supporting OWTs, impeded in sand. This study is based on a numerical procedure which <br/>employed SDM method and incorporated in ABAQUS using a FORTRAN script called <br/>USDFLD. This thesis consists of a verification process and four numerical analysis simulating <br/>large diameter mono-piles subjected to cyclic lateral load using the SDM. First, the validation of <br/>the numerical approach in static load using field measurements of static field test (DL2) from <br/>PISA project. Second, the validation of the numerical approach in cyclic load using the field <br/>measurements from cyclic field test (DM2) from PISA project. Then, a modification to the SDM <br/>method is shown to become applicable with cyclic loads with variable amplitude. This <br/>modification has been validated against field measurements from cyclic field test (DL2) from <br/>PISA project. Finally, a numerical investigation of the effect of L/D ratio on the guideline <br/>parameter (A) in p-y curves theory is performed

Summary, etc. تتناول الدراسة سلوك نظام الدعامة-التربة تحت تأثير الأحمال الجانبية الدورية، وهو أمر مهم في دعم توربينات الرياح البحرية ذات الاقطار الكبيرة. تُظهر الطرق التقليدية مثل منحنيات p-y قصورًا في التعامل مع الأكوام الكبيرة وعدد الدورات العالي. لذلك، استخدم الباحثون نموذج تدهور الصلابة (SDM) المُطور بواسطة Achmus وآخرين عام 2008، لمحاكاة السلوك الدوري باستخدام Abaqus مع تضمين نص برمجي فورتران. تم التحقق من صحة النموذج بمقارنته مع نتائج سابقة وأظهرت توافقًا ممتازًا. كما شملت الدراسة تحقيقات عددية لاختبارات PISA، وتمت مقارنة النتائج بالقياسات الحقلية التي أكدت دقة النموذج في تمثيل آلية الانهيار وسلوك التربة، بالإضافة إلى تقديم تعديل للتعامل مع الأحمال المتغيرة. اخيرا تم دراسة تغير المعامل A في منحنيات p-y مع عوامل مختلفة.
