| Summary, etc. | Regarding their importance of biomechanics of knee joint <br/>movement, ACL & PCL are important items to assess in knee <br/>ultrasound, the ACL in particular prevent anterior translation of <br/>the tibia and its internal rotation as well (Perryman et al., 2002). <br/>The PCL prevent posterior patellar translation & its eternal <br/>rotation (Bengtzen et al., 2016). <br/>By high resolution MSK US assessment of ACL in general <br/>depending on degree of extent of fat present in patient's knee, low <br/>proportion of fat found in young athletes, so femoral attachment <br/>could be clearly visualized (Lee et al., 2021). <br/>Previously the anterior cruciate ligament was not involved in ultrasound <br/>knee joint scan due to its oblique course, but nowadays it is routinely <br/>assessed in pre and post-operative cases owing to high ultrasound <br/>technology and awareness of sono-anatomy |

| Summary, etc. | فيما يتعلق بأهميتهما في الميكانيكا الحيوية لحركة مفصل الركبة، يُعد الرباط الصليبي الأمامي (ACL) والرباط الصليبي الخلفي (PCL) عنصرين مهمين يجب تقييمهما في فحص الركبة بالموجات فوق الصوتية. يمنع الرباط الصليبي الأمامي على وجه الخصوص الانزلاق الأمامي لعظم الظنبوب ودورانه الداخلي أيضًا (بيريمان وآخرون، 2002). ويمنع الرباط الصليبي الخلفي الانزلاق الخلفي للرضفة ودورانها الخارجي (بينغتزن وآخرون، 2016). وباستخدام فحص الموجات فوق الصوتية عالي الدقة للجهاز العضلي الهيكلي، يمكن تقييم الرباط الصليبي الأمامي بشكل عام، اعتمادًا على درجة وجود الدهون في ركبة المريض. ونظرًا لانخفاض نسبة الدهون لدى الرياضيين الشباب، يمكن رؤية ارتباط الرباط بعظم الفخذ بوضوح (لي وآخرون، 2021). في السابق، لم يكن الرباط الصليبي الأمامي يُفحص بالموجات فوق الصوتية لمفصل الركبة بسبب مساره المائل، ولكنه يُفحص الآن بشكل روتيني في الحالات قبل وبعد الجراحة بفضل التطور الكبير في تقنية الموجات فوق الصوتية والوعي بتشريح الركبة بالموجات فوق الصوتية. |
