Summary, etc. Homing missiles have transformed modern warfare by enabling precise and <br/>autonomous targeting capabilities. However, the effectiveness of a homing missile system <br/>relies heavily on its guidance law, autopilot control mechanisms, and tracking or seeker <br/>technology. This thesis address that facts by modeling a complete homing missile system <br/>with six degrees of freedom (6-DOF), utilizing tail control mechanism and an electro-<br/>optical (EO) tracking device to target an aircraft from the ground. A 2D camera-based <br/>image guidance system tracks the target and estimates its motion orientation using <br/>developed algorithms that interacting with mathematical models of the target and EO <br/>camera to captures the target’s 3D movement from its image plane coordinates. The study <br/>simulations conducted in MATLAB® and Simulink® to demonstrate successful missile-<br/>target engagements with both Pure Pursuit Guidance (PPG) and Proportional Navigation <br/>Guidance (PNG) laws to compare the performance of for each law in multiple engagement <br/>scenarios.

Summary, etc. تعتمد فعالية أنظمة الصواريخ الموجهة بشكل كبير على قانون التوجيه، وآليات التحكم في الطيار الآلي، وتقنية التتبع أو الباحث. تتناول هذه الرسالة هذه الحقائق من خلال نمذجة نظام صاروخ موجه كامل بست درجات حرية، باستخدام وحدة تحكم ذيلية مع جهاز تتبع EO لاستهداف طائرة. يتتبع الهدف نظام توجيه صوري ثنائي الأبعاد قائم على كاميرا، ويقدر اتجاه حركته باستخدام خوارزميات مطورة لالتقاط حركة الهدف ثلاثية الأبعاد من إحداثيات مستوى صورته. أجريت عمليات المحاكاة في الدراسة باستخدام MATLAB® وSimulink®. ثم قورنت نتائج قوانين PPG وPNG من منظور الأداء.
