| Summary, etc. | This study aimed to determine the effectiveness of an interactive activities program based on artificial intelligence (AI) applications in developing secondary school students' EFL argumentative writing skills. The participants were sixty first-year secondary school students randomly selected from Nasef Tahoon Secondary School, Ashmoon directorate, Menoufia Governorate, during the 2024–2025 academic year. The study employed the quasi-experimental design in which two groups were divided into an experimental group (n=30) and a control one (n=30). Instruments of the study were comprised of an argumentative writing skills checklist, a pre-post argumentative writing test, and a scoring rubric. The AI applications used in this study were ChatGPT, Grammarly, ProWritingAid, and QuillBot. Also, the interactive activities included peer review, collaborative writing tasks, discussion and debate, gamified challenges, paraphrasing challenges, and self-reflection, all grounded in the theoretical foundations of constructivism and connectivism. The findings revealed that the experimental group students scored significantly higher than those in the control group on the EFL argumentative writing skills post-test, particularly in the areas of content, organization, language mechanics, grammar, and word choice. Consequently, the interactive activities program based on artificial intelligence applications proved to be effective in enhancing students’ EFL argumentative writing skills when appropriately implemented. |

| Summary, etc. | هدفت هذه الدراسة إلى تعرف فاعلية برنامج في الأنشطة تفاعلية قائم على تطبيقات الذكاء الاصطناعي في تنمية مهارات الكتابة الجدلية باللغة الإنجليزية كلغة أجنبية لدى طلاب المرحلة الثانوية. وتكونت عينة الدراسة من ستون طالبًا وطالبة من الصف الأول الثانوي تم اختيارهم عشوائيًا من مدرسة ناصف طاحون الثانوية بإدارة أشمون التعليمية بمحافظة المنوفية، وذلك خلال العام الدراسي 2024–2025. كما استخدمت الدراسة المنهج شبه التجريبي، حيث تم تقسيم العينة إلى مجموعتين: مجموعة تجريبية (عددها = 30) ومجموعة ضابطة (عددها = 30). وتضمنت أدوات الدراسة قائمة بمهارات الكتابة الجدلية، واختبارًا قبليًا وبعديًا في مهارات الكتابة الجدلية، بالإضافة إلى مقياس تقدير (روبرك) لتصحيح الاختبار. وقد استخدمت الدراسة تطبيقات الذكاء الاصطناعي ChatGPT)-Grammarly – ProWritingAid- (QuillBot. وتوصلت نتائج الدراسة إلى وجود فروق ذات دلالة إحصائية بين متوسط درجات المجموعة التجريبية والضابطة في التطبيق البعدي في اختبار الكتابة الجدلية لصالح المجموعة التجريبية عند مستوى دلالة 0.05. ولا سيما في مهارات الكتابة الجدلية باللغة الإنجليزية المرتبطة بالمحتوى، والتنظيم، وآليات اللغة، والقواعد، واختيار المفردات. وبناءً على ذلك، ثبتت فاعلية البرنامج القائم على الأنشطة التفاعلية باستخدام تطبيقات الذكاء الاصطناعي في تنمية مهارات الكتابة الجدلية باللغة الإنجليزية كلغة أجنبية لدى الطلاب وذلك عند تطبيقه بصورة مناسبة. |
