| Summary, etc. | Liver transplantation is a life-saving procedure for patients with end-stage liver <br/>disease, but it can be associated with pulmonary complications that impact morbidity and <br/>mortality rates. Radiology has undoubtedly contributed to the development and success of <br/>liver transplantation. LDLT requires intensive radiological evaluation to detect intra or post <br/>operative complications. <br/>Methods: This study included 28 adult patients who underwent LDLT with pulmonary <br/>symptoms and on whom MSCT of the chest was performed after beginning of symptoms. We <br/>evaluated the outcome of radiographically determined pulmonary complications. Three <br/>radiologists analysed the CT images; final decisions regarding the findings were reached by <br/>consensus. <br/>Results: In our study pleural effusion was the most common disease affecting 92.85% of <br/>the study group and 50% of them had bilateral pleural effusion . Pneumonia was diagnosed in <br/>28.57% of patients, while pulmonary edema was diagnosed in 7.1% of cases. The most <br/>common parenchymal findings in the study group were reticulations seen in 21 patients, <br/>pericardial effusion in 53.57% , and ground glass opacities in 42.85% of cases. <br/>Conclusions: Although the incidence of pulmonary complication in liver recipients was <br/>relatively low, the mortality rate in patients who developed this complication was high. MSCT <br/>is a sensitive diagnostic tool for detecting various pulmonary infectious and non-infectious <br/>diseases . Early detection and management of these complications can significantly improve <br/>patient outcomes. reducing morbidity and mortality in this vulnerable population. |

| Summary, etc. | تُعد زراعة الكبد إجراءً منقذًا للحياة للمرضى الذين يعانون من مرض الكبد في مراحله النهائية، لكنها قد ترتبط بمضاعفات رئوية تؤثر على معدلات الإصابة والوفيات. لقد ساهم علم الأشعة بلا شك في تطور ونجاح زراعة الكبد. تتطلب زراعة الكبد من متبرع حي تقييمًا إشعاعيًا مكثفًا لاكتشاف المضاعفات داخل أوبعد العملية.<br/>الطرق: شملت هذه الدراسة 28 مريضًا بالغًا خضعوا لزراعة كبد من متبرع حي وظهرت لديهم أعراض تنفسية، وقد أُجري لهم تصوير مقطعي محوسب متعدد الشرائح للصدر بعد بداية الأعراض. قمنا بتقييم نتائج المضاعفات الرئوية التي تم تحديدها بالأشعة،. قام اختصاصيان في الأشعه بتحليل صور الاشعه المقطعية وتم التوصل الي التشخيص النهائي بالتوافق بينهما.<br/>النتائج: في دراستنا، كان الارتشاح الجنبي (الانصباب البلوري) هو المرض الأكثر شيوعًا، حيث أثر على 92.85% من مجموعة الدراسة، وكان نصفهم يعاني من ارتشاح جنبي ثنائي الجانب. تم تشخيص الالتهاب الرئوي لدى 28.57% من المرضى، بينما تم تشخيص وذمة الرئة في 7.1% من الحالات. وكانت أكثر التغيرات في نسيج الرئة شيوعًا في المجموعة: التليف الشبكي في 21 مريضًا، والانصباب التاموري في 53.57%، كما لوحظ ظلال الزجاج المصنفر في 42.85%من المرضى<br/>الخلاصه:يُعد التصوير المقطعي المحوسب متعدد الشرائح أداة تشخيصية حساسة لاكتشاف الأمراض الرئوية المعدية وغير المعدية. يمكن أن يؤدي الكشف المبكر والتعامل السريع مع هذه المضاعفات إلى تحسين كبير في نتائج المرضى، من خلال تقليل معدلات المراضة والوفيات في هذه الفئة الضعيفة من المرضى. |
