| Summary, etc. | Background: Effective human resource management (HRM) practices are critical for <br/>enhancing staff motivation and engagement, thereby reducing nurses’ intention to leave. <br/>Aim: To assess the relationship between human resources management practices and <br/>intention to leave as perceived by staff nurses. Design: A descriptive correctional design <br/>was utilized in this study. Sample: A convenience sample (n= 202) of all staff nurses. <br/>Setting: This study was carried out at El-abbassia Fever Hospital, affiliated with the <br/>Ministry of Health. Data collection tools: Three tools were utilized 1st tool: Personal <br/>characteristic datasheet, 2nd tool: Human resources management practices (HRM) <br/>questionnaire, 3rd tool staff nurses’ intention to leave questionnaire. Results: The study <br/>results revealed that staff nurses perceived human resource management practices with a <br/>total mean percentage of 55.33%. The total mean percentage for the intention to leave <br/>domain was 67.39%, with approximately 53.5% of nurses reporting a moderate intention <br/>to leave. No statistically significant correlation was found between perceived human <br/>resource management practices and intention to leave (p = 0.13). Conclusion: The study <br/>concluded that staff nurses perceived human resource management practices at a <br/>moderate level. Moreover, over half of the nurses reported a moderate intention to leave. <br/>No statistically significant correlation was found between human resource management <br/>practices and the intention to leave as perceived by staff nurses. Recommendations: <br/>Establish a formal and specialized Human Resources department, clear policies for HR <br/>planning, job descriptions, and disseminate it throughout the hospital, Develop and <br/>implement retention strategies to reduce staff nurses’ intention to leave level. |

| Summary, etc. | الخلفيه العلميه: تُعَدّ ممارسات إدارة الموارد البشرية الفعّالة عنصرًا أساسيًا في تعزيز دافعية العاملين وزيادة اندماجهم، مما يسهم في تقليل نية الممرضين في ترك العمل. الهدف: هدفت هذه الدراسة إلى تقييم العلاقة بين ممارسات إدارة الموارد البشرية ونية ترك العمل كما يُدركها طاقم التمريض. التصميم: استُخدم تصميم وصفي ارتباطي.العينة والمكان: شملت عينة الدراسة (202) من طاقم التمريض العاملين في مستشفى العباسية للحميات التابع لوزارة الصحة. أدوات جمع البيانات: استُخدمت ثلاث أدوات: (1) استمارة البيانات الشخصية، (2) استبيان ممارسات إدارة الموارد البشرية، (3) استبيان نية ترك العمل لدى طاقم التمريض. النتائج: أظهرت النتائج أن الممرضين قيّموا ممارسات إدارة الموارد البشرية بمستوى متوسط، بنسبة مئوية إجمالية بلغت (55.33%). بينما بلغ المتوسط الكلي لنية ترك العمل (67.39%)، حيث أفاد حوالي (53.5%) من الممرضين بوجود نية متوسطة لترك العمل. كما لم تُظهِر النتائج وجود علاقة ارتباطية ذات دلالة إحصائية بين ممارسات إدارة الموارد البشرية ونية ترك العمل (قيمة الاحتمال = 0.13). الاستنتاج: توصّلت الدراسة إلى أن الممرضين يُدركون ممارسات إدارة الموارد البشرية عند مستوى متوسط، وأن أكثر من نصفهم لديهم نية متوسطة لترك العمل. ولم يتم رصد علاقة ارتباطية ذات دلالة إحصائية بين الممارسات الإدارية للموارد البشرية ونية الممرضين في ترك العمل.التوصيات: إنشاء قسم رسمي ومتخصص للموارد البشرية، ووضع سياسات واضحة للتخطيط وتوصيف الوظائف ونشرها على مستوى المستشفى، إضافةً إلى تطوير وتنفيذ استراتيجيات للاحتفاظ بالممرضين بهدف تقليل مستوى نية ترك العمل. |
