| Summary, etc. | This thesis is concerned with developing various analytical methods for analysis of <br/>antiparkinsonian drugs in different matrices. A validated analytical method was suggested to <br/>quantitatively determine a mixture of Levodopa, Carbidopa and Entacapone by applying <br/>differential pulse voltammetry coupled with chemometrics with greenness assessment. A <br/>bioanalytical method was developed and validated for quantitative simultaneous determination <br/>of Quetiapine, Levodopa and Carbidopa in spiked human plasma utilizing the high-<br/>performance thin layer chromatographic technique based on greenness and whiteness <br/>approaches. <br/>This work aims to create different analytical methodologies that are simple, rapid, <br/>accurate and having optimum degree of greenness and whiteness. The studied drugs are <br/>determined in their pure forms, in their pharmaceutical dosage form, and/or in biological <br/>matrices. <br/>This thesis is divided into four chapters in addition to the references and summaries in <br/>Arabic and English. The four chapters are: <br/>Chapter I: General Introduction and Literature Review. <br/>Chapter II: A voltammetric method coupled with chemometrics for determination of a ternary <br/>antiparkinson mixture in its dosage form: greenness assessment. <br/>Chapter III: Greenness and whiteness appraisal for bioanalysis of quetiapine, levodopa and <br/>carbidopa in spiked human plasma by high performance thin layer chromatography. <br/>Chapter IV: Chemometrics in Paving the Way to Analyze Levodopa and Dopamine in Various <br/>Matrices for Monitoring Parkinson’s Disease and Other Neurological Disorders. |

| Summary, etc. | تتناول هذه الأطروحة تطوير طرق تحليلية متنوعة لتحليل<br/>أدوية باركنسون في بيئات مختلفة. وقد تم اقتراح طريقة تحليلية معتمدة لـ<br/>تحديد كمية مزيج من ليفودوبا وكاربيدوبا وإنتاكابون باستخدام<br/>تقنية الفولتامترية النبضية التفاضلية المقترنة بالكيمياء الإحصائية مع تقييم اللون الأخضر. كما تم تطوير طريقة تحليلية حيوية والتحقق من صحتها لتحديد كمية الكويتيابين وليفودوبا وكاربيدوبا في بلازما بشرية مدعمة باستخدام<br/>تقنية كروماتوغرافيا الطبقة الرقيقة عالية الأداء القائمة على<br/>مقاربات اللون الأخضر والأبيض.<br/>يهدف هذا العمل إلى ابتكار منهجيات تحليلية مختلفة تتسم بالبساطة والسرعة والدقة، وتتميز بدرجة مثالية من اللون الأخضر والأبيض. يتم تحديد الأدوية المدروسة<br/>في صورها النقية، وفي شكلها الصيدلاني، و/أو في بيئات بيولوجية. تنقسم هذه الأطروحة إلى أربعة فصول، بالإضافة إلى المراجع والملخصات باللغتين العربية والإنجليزية. الفصول الأربعة هي:<br/>الفصل الأول: مقدمة عامة ومراجعة الأدبيات.<br/>الفصل الثاني: طريقة قياس الفولتية المقترنة بالكيمياء القياسية لتحديد مزيج ثلاثي مضاد لمرض باركنسون في شكله الدوائي: تقييم اللون الأخضر.<br/>الفصل الثالث: تقييم اللون الأخضر والأبيض للتحليل الحيوي للكويتيابين والليفودوبا والكاربيدوبا في بلازما بشرية مدعمة باستخدام كروماتوغرافيا الطبقة الرقيقة عالية الأداء.<br/>الفصل الرابع: الكيمياء القياسية في تمهيد الطريق لتحليل الليفودوبا والدوبامين في مختلف المصفوفات لمراقبة مرض باركنسون واضطرابات عصبية أخرى. |
