| Summary, etc. | The ICT innovations stand as the backbone for many sectors and businesses, which has resulted in the diffusion of new applications and business models. The European Union explores the benefits of ICT innovation, works on maximizing/optimizing the potential, and tries to overcome any obstacle that undermines the impact of these innovations on the economy.<br/>Therefore, the study examines the relation between the ICT innovations (the e-commerce as an application) and the economic growth and development in Egypt, by tapping into the EU experience as a benchmark. On the other hand, determining the ability of the Egyptian Economy to join the “Digital Economy”, to play a role in pushing and enabling other changes in different sectors, to make them more innovative and economically effective. |

| Summary, etc. | تعتبر الابتكار في مجال تكنولوجيا المعلومات والاتصالات المصدر المغذي للابتكار في جميع القطاعات الاقتصادية، وبالتالي فهي تعتبر المحرك الأساسي للنمو الاقتصادي والتنمية الاقتصادية. في هذا الإطار؛ تشير الدراسات الاقتصادية إلى تفوق الاتحاد الأوروبي في مجال الاستفادة من الفرص والعوائد الناجمة عن تلك الابتكارات. و بناء على ماسبق ، أصبح الاتحاد الأوروبي نموذج محوري و أداء لقياس أداء وتطور الاقتصاديات الناشئة ، ومنها الاقتصاد المصريتهدف الدراسة إلى تحليل دور وأهمية الابتكار في مجال تكنولوجيا المعلومات والاتصالات (و تعتبرالتجارة الإلكترونية مثال للتطبيقات سابقة الذكر) في النمو والتنمية الاقتصادية في مصر، وذلك بالقياس و المقارنة بتجربة الاتحاد الأوروبي، و ذلك للوقوف على الفجوة بين التجربتين. كما تتناول الدراسة العوامل التي قد تقيد الاستفادة الاقتصادية من تلك الابتكارات، وذلك بهدف استخلاص الدروس المستفادة.<br/>و بناء عليه، تتمثل أهمية الدراسة في تحليل قدرة الاقتصاد المصري على تحويل مختلف القطاعات الاقتصادية إلى قطاعات رقمية، مبتكرة ، وفاعلة اقتصاديًا؛ بالإضافة إلى تقديم تقييم "للنظام الأيكولوجي" المؤثر في كفاءة و تطور تلك الابتكارات، مما سيخدم عملية التطوير وصنع القرار في المجال سابق الذكر، و ذلك باستخدام المنهج الوصفي للمقارنة بين التجربة الأروبية و التجربة المصرية، بالإضافة إلى استخدام الاستبيانات و المقابلات الشخصية للتعرف على أهمية و دور تلك الابتكارات ( التكنولوجيا المالية) على الاقتصاد المصري. |
