Summary, etc. This thesis investigates three distinct approaches for the accurate diagnosis and <br/>grading of papilledema, a neuro-ophthalmic condition characterized by optic disc <br/>swelling due to heightened intracranial pressure. Utilizing diverse imaging modalities <br/>and comprehensive clinical data, the research employs a cascaded model, pretrained <br/>convolutional neural networks (CNNs), and customized CNN models for papilledema <br/>detection from OCT images. Additionally, fundus images are analyzed using a multi-<br/>paths CNN model and a cascaded model integrating ResNet-50 and LSTM for feature <br/>extraction and classification. Classical machine learning models including SVM, <br/>neural networks, and fuzzy logic are also utilized for papilledema severity detection <br/>using clinical data. Contributions include pioneering the implementation of a cascaded <br/>deep learning model, introducing a novel OCT dataset, crafting transfer learning <br/>models, and designing tailored CNN architectures.
