Summary, etc.	Purpose: The aim of study was to detect the effect of pumped technique for <br/>ilio-lumbar ligament release on postpartum low back pain. Subjects: Fifty <br/>women complaining of postnatal low back pain participated in this study. They <br/>were selected randomly from the outpatient clinic of Faculty of Physical <br/>Therapy, Pharos University at Alexandria on the following criteria: Their ages <br/>were ranged from 25-35 years. All women were within 3 months postnatal. <br/>Their BMI was less than 30 Kg\m2. All women were primipara or multipara. <br/>All women were normal vaginal labor delivery or caesarian section. Design: <br/>The research is design as randomized controlled study. They were divided <br/>randomly into two equal groups A and B: Group A (Control group): It was <br/>consisted of 25 postnatal women and were treated by hot packs for 20 minutes <br/>three times per week for 8 weeks. Group B (Study group): It was consisted of <br/>25 postnatal women and were treated by hot packs for 20 minutes in addition to <br/>pumped technique for ilio-lumbar ligament release for 30 min. 3 times per <br/>week for 8 weeks. Assessment: VAS was used to assess severity of low back <br/>pain, Goniometer was used to assess lumbar flexion range of motion. <br/>Inclinometer was used to assess lumbar curvature for each woman in both <br/>groups A and B before and after treatment. Results: Results of this study <br/>revealed that; within groups; there was significant decrease in VAS and lumbar <br/>lordotic curve, and significant increase in lumbar flexion ROM in both groups <br/>post-treatment. Between groups; pre-treatment; there was no significant <br/>difference between both groups A and B in VAS, lumbar lordotic curve and <br/>lumbar flexion ROM. Post-treatment; there was significant difference between <br/>both groups A and B in VAS, lumbar lordotic curve and lumbar flexion ROM <br/>with favor of group B (more decrease in VAS and lumbar lordotic curve and <br/>more increase in lumber flexion ROM). Conclusion: It can be concluded that <br/>pumped technique for ilio-lumbar ligament release is effective in reducing post <br/>natal low back pain through decreasing pain intensity and lumbar lordotic <br/>curve and increasing lumbar flexion ROM.

Summary, etc.	الهدف تهدف الدراسة هو معرفة تأثير تقنية الضخ لاطالة الرباط الحرقفي القطني على آلام أسفل الظهر بعد الولادة الاشخاص شارك خمسون امرأة يعانون من آلام أسفل الظهر بعد الولادة في هذه الدراسة. تم اختيار من عشوائيا من العيادة الخارجية بكلية العلاج الطبيعي جامعة فاروس بالإسكندرية، وفقا للمعايير التالية: تراوحت أعمارهن بين ٢٥ - ٣٥ عاما جميع النساء كن في غضون 3 أشهر بعد الولادة. وكان مؤشر كتلة الجسم (BMI) أقل من ٣٠ كجم / م. جميع النساء كن أولى أو متعددة الولادات. وجميعهن ولدن ولادة طبيعية أو قيصرية. التصميم تم تصميم البحث كدراسة عشوائية محكمة تم تقسيم المشاركات عشوائيا إلى مجموعتين متساويتين المجموعة (أ) (مجموعة التحكم) : تكونت من ٢٥ امرأة بعد الولادة، وتم علاجهن بالكمادات الساخنة لمدة ٢٠ دقيقة ثلاث مرات أسبوعيًا لمدة 8 أسابيع المجموعة (ب) المجموعة التجريبية) : تكونت من ٢٥ امرأة بعد الولادة، وتم علاجهن بالكمادات الساخنة لمدة ۲۰ دقيقة بالإضافة إلى تقنية الضخ لاطالة الرباط الحرقفي القطني لمدة ٣٠ دقيقة، ثلاث مرات أسبوعيًا لمدة 8 أسابيع. التقييم: تم استخدام مقياس المؤشر البصري للألم لتقييم شدة آلام أسفل الظهر، وتم استخدام جهاز قياس الزوايا Goniometer) لتقييم مدى حركة الانثناء القطني، كما تم استخدام جهاز الميل (Inclinometer) لتقييم تقوس العمود الفقري القطني لكل امرأة في كل من المجموعتين قبل وبعد العلاج النتائج أظهرت نتائج الدراسة داخل المجموعتين؛ كان هناك انخفاض ملحوظ في مقياس المؤشر البصري للألم وتقوس القوس القطني، وزيادة ملحوظة في مدى حركة الانثناء القطني في كلتا المجموعتين بعد العلاج بين المجموعتين؛ قبل العلاج؛ لم يكن هناك فرق ذو دلالة إحصائية بين المجموعتين (أ) و (ب) في مقياس المؤشر البصري للألم وتقوس القوس القطني ومدى حركة الانثناء القطني بعد العلاج؛ كان هناك فرق ذو دلالة إحصائية بين المجموعتين (أ) و (ب) لصالح المجموعة (ب)، حيث أظهرت المجموعة (ب) انخفاضا أكبر في مقياس المؤشر البصري للألم وتقوس القوس القطني، وزيادة أكبر في مدى حركة الانثناء القطني. الخلاصة وهكذا يمكن الاستنتاج بأن تقنية الضخ لاطالة الرباط الحرقفي القطني فعالة في تقليل آلام أسفل الظهر بعد الولادة من خلال تقليل شدة الألم وتقوس القوس القطني وزيادة مدى حركة الانثناء القطني.
