| Summary, etc. | The study examines the teenager‘s engagement with TikTok for fame-seeking <br/>and self-disclosure. The study applies to Egyptian TikTok users and relies on the <br/>quantitative, and qualitative techniques. The questionnaire is distributed to a <br/>convenience sample of TikTok users in Egypt. The sample size comprises 420 <br/>users. The collected and valid responses are 358. The qualitative technique of in-<br/>depth interview conducted with 11 of TikTok influencers. All influencers agreed <br/>that TikTok is currently the most effective platform for going viral and gaining <br/>fame. Most of them aim to produce meaningful content to shift the platform's <br/>negative image toward a more positive one. However, many reported negative <br/>psychological effects, such as low engagement, negative comments, and the <br/>promotion of untalented users. The data are analyzed by analysis modeling tool <br/>of statistical package for the social science (SPSS). The research proves that <br/>there is a positive relationship between the younger generation engagement level <br/>with TikTok and Fame-seeking. Also, when teenagers' engagement with TikTok <br/>increases leads to an increase in their self-disclosure in TikTok. The results <br/>stated that Egyptian teenagers always see themselves in good qualities, that they <br/>are able to do anything which reflects their ego and need for encouragement. <br/>They want to feel successful and verified. The research is limited to TikTok and <br/>its Egyptian users. The study shall be addressed to different social media <br/>platforms and other users. |

| Summary, etc. | تتناول هذه الدراسة تفاعل المراهقين مع تطبيق تيك توك بغرض السعي إلى الشهرة والإفصاح عن الذات. وقد تم تطبيق الدراسة على مستخدمي تيك توك في مصر، بالاعتماد على كل من المنهج الكمي والنوعي، حيث تم توزيع الاستبيان على عينة قصدية من مستخدمي تيك توك في مصر، وبلغ حجم العينة 420 مستخدمًا، وتم اعتماد 358 استمارة صالحة للتحليل. كما تم استخدام المنهج النوعي بإجراء مقابلات معمقة مع 11 من المؤثرين على تيك توك، وقد تم تحليل البيانات باستخدام أداة النمذجة الإحصائية عبر برنامج الحزمة الإحصائية للعلوم الاجتماعية (SPSS).<br/>أثبتت نتائج البحث وجود علاقة إيجابية بين مستوى تفاعل الجيل الأصغر مع تيك توك والسعي نحو الشهرة. كما تبين أن زيادة تفاعل المراهقين مع تيك توك يؤدي إلى زيادة مستوى الإفصاح عن الذات على المنصة. أظهرت النتائج أن المراهقين المصريين غالبًا ما ينظرون لأنفسهم بإيجابية، ويعتقدون بقدرتهم على تحقيق أي شيء، وهو ما يعكس تقديرهم لذواتهم وحاجتهم إلى التشجيع. يرغبون في الشعور بالنجاح والحصول على التحقق (Verification).<br/>وقد اقتصرت الدراسة على منصة تيك توك ومستخدميها في مصر، ويوصى بأن تتوسع الدراسات المستقبلية لتشمل منصات تواصل اجتماعي أخرى ومستخدمين من بيئات مختلفة. |
