| Summary, etc. | The purpose of this study was to determine the bactericidal effect of diode laser (445 nm), silver and curcumin nanoparticles on Enterococcus faecalis.The study was carried out by classifying the examined samples into seven groups and analyzed using three methods.Seventy extracted maxillary anterior human teeth with one root canal were inoculated with Enterococcus faecalis and organized into seven groups; (I) Control group, (II) Sodium hypochlorite group, (III) Laser group, (IV) Silver nanoparticles group, (V) Laser with silver nanoparticles group, (VI) Curcumin nanoparticles group and (VII) Laser with curcumin nanoparticles group. After the treatment protocol, the samples were analyzed by colony forming units (CFU) for analysis of the remaining bacteria. Also, they were stained with dye to detect live and dead bacteria using a confocal laser scanning microscope (CLSM). Lastly, the specimens were examined to detect the glutathione peroxidase, superoxide dismutase and ROS levels. The results of this investigation revealed the following:CFU: The control group showed the highest bacterial load followed by the SNP group, then the CurNP group then the CurNP-L group then the laser group then the SNP-L group and finally the NaOCl group. CLSM: The SNP group showed the highest bacterial percentage reduction followed by theCurNP-L group then the NaOCl group then the laser group then the SNP-L group then the CurNP group and finally the control group. Antioxidant markers:Glutathione peroxidase:The control group showed the highest level followed by the NaOCl group then the laser group then CurNP group then CurNP-L group then SNP group and finally the SNP-L group. Superoxide dismutase:The control group showed the highest level followed by the NaOCl group then the laser group then the CurNP group then the CurNP-L group then the SNP group and finally the SNP-L group.ROS:The SNP-L showed the highest level followed by the CurNP-L group then the SNP group then the CurNP group then the NaOCl group then the laser group and finally the control group. |

| Summary, etc. | الغرض من هذه الدراسة هو تحديد التأثير المدمر للجراثيم باستخدام الليزر الثنائي (445 نانومتر) وجسيمات الفضة والكركمين النانوية على المكورات المعوية البرازية. أجريت الدراسة من خلال تصنيف العينات التى تم فحصها، إلى سبع مجموعات وتحليلها باستخدام ثلاث طرق. تم تلقيح سبعين سنًا بشريًا أماميًا من الفك العلوي مع قناة جذر واحدة بالمكورات المعوية البرازية وتم تنظيمها في سبع مجموعات؛ (I) المجموعة الضابطة، (II) مجموعة هيبوكلوريت الصوديوم، (III) مجموعة الليزر، (IV) مجموعة جسيمات الفضة النانوية، (V) الليزر مع مجموعة جسيمات الفضة النانوية، (VI) مجموعة جسيمات الكركمين النانوية و (VII) الليزر مع مجموعة جسيمات الكركمين النانوية. بعد بروتوكول العلاج، تم تحليل العينات بواسطة وحدات تشكيل مستعمرة (CFU) لتحليل البكتيريا المتبقية. كما تم صبغها بالصبغة للكشف عن البكتيريا الحية والميتة باستخدام مجهر المسح بالليزر متحد البؤر (CLSM). وأخيراً، تم فحص العينات للكشف عن مستويات الجلوتاثيون بيروكسيديز، وفوق أكسيد ديسموتاز، ومستويات .ROS وكشفت نتائج هذا التحقيق ما يلى:<br/>:CFUأظهرت مجموعة السيطرة أعلى حمل بكتيري تليها مجموعة SNP، ثم مجموعة CurNP ثم مجموعة CurNP-L ثم مجموعة الليزر ثم مجموعة SNP-L وأخيرا مجموعةNaOCl.<br/>:CLSMأظهرت مجموعة SNP أعلى انخفاض في نسبة البكتيريا تليها مجموعة CurNP-L ثم مجموعةNaOClثم مجموعة الليزر ثم مجموعة SNP-L ثم مجموعة CurNP وأخيرا مجموعة السيطرة. |
