Summary, etc. This study describes the influence of biosynthesized silver nanoparticles <br/>(Ag-NPs) on phytochemicals and their activities in the cell suspension cultures <br/>(CSC) of Zantedeschia aethiopica. To determine the effect of spirulina aqueous <br/>extract (SAE), plant growth regulators, and SP-AgNPs on the accumulation of <br/>biomass and bioactive compounds in CSC of Zantedeschia aethiopica. The <br/>medium comprising MS salts and sucrose (30 g/L) with 1.5 g/L of SAE and SP-<br/>AgNPs at 30 days of CSC was appropriate for biomass and bioactive compound <br/>accumulation. SP-AgNPs (5 mg/L) elicited CSC extracts that had significantly <br/>enhanced the production of total phenolic content (TPC) (4.27 mg/g-FW), total <br/>flavonoid content (TFC) (3.88 mg/g FW), and DPPH radical scavenging assay <br/>(RSA) (80.03%) compared to the control CSC extracts for TPC, TFC, and DPPH <br/>(0.61, 0.42 mg/g, and 48.80% respectively). The contents of superoxide dismutase <br/>(SOD), peroxidase (POD), and catalase (CAT) were highly elevated in SP-AgNPs <br/>(5 mg/L)-elicited CSC ( 4.5,3.3, and 2.5 U/mg respectively) when compared with <br/>non-elicited CSC. SP-AgNPs elicited CSC showed more phenolic compounds <br/>(1422.28µg/g) than the control CSC (306.31 µg/g). Because of these metabolic <br/>changes, the secondary metabolites produced in the SP-AgNPs -elicited CSC <br/>extracts of Zantedeschia aethiopica. The study suggested the effectiveness of the <br/>elicitation process in enhancing the accumulation of phenolic and flavonoid <br/>compounds and antioxidant activities. SP-AgNPs-elicited CSC offered an <br/>effective and favorable in vitro method to improve the production of bioactive <br/>compounds (secondary metabolites).

Summary, etc. تشرح هذه الدراسة كيف تتأثر المواد الفيتوكيميائية (المركبات النباتية الفعالة) وأنشطتها في مزارع الخلايا المعلّقة لنبات Zantedeschia aethiopica (Calla lily) بجزيئات الفضة النانوية المُخلقة حيويًا باستخدام مستخلص السبيرولينا (SP-AgNPs).اُستخدم وسط MS يحتوي على سكروز (30 جم/لتر)، ومستخلص سبيرولينا (1.5 جم/لتر)، وجزيئات SP-AgNPs، حيث أظهر التركيز 5 ملجم/لتر أفضل النتائج في تعزيز الكتلة الحيوية والمركبات النشطة بيولوجيًا.ارتفع المحتوى الكلي للفينولات (TPC = 4.27 ملجم/جم FW) والفلافونويدات (TFC = 3.88 ملجم/جم FW) والنشاط المضاد للأكسدة (DPPH RSA = 80.03%) مقارنة بالمزارع غير المعاملة.كما زادت أنشطة الإنزيمات المضادة للأكسدة SOD (4.5)، POD (3.3)، وCAT (2.5 وحدة/ملجم).بلغ تركيز المركبات الفينولية في المزارع المعاملة 1422.28 ميكروجرام/جم مقابل 306.31 ميكروجرام/جم في غير المعاملة.تشير النتائج إلى أن التحفيز بجزيئات SP-AgNPs ساهم بوضوح في تعزيز تراكم المركبات الفينولية والفلافونويدية وتحسين النشاط المضاد للأكسدة في مزارع الخلايا المعلّقة لنبات Zantedeschia aethiopica.
