| Summary, etc. | As part of Egypt Vision 2030, the Egyptian government aims to protect coastal ecosystems, with a focus on Goal 14 on conserving marine resources. Lake Edku, one of Egypt's largest northern lakes, is vulnerable to environmental degradation due to human activities such as agricultural, industrial, and sanitary drainage, necessitating a careful assessment of its environmental status.<br/>The research concludes that although Lake Edku remains within relatively safe limits, the increasing pollution of its sediments requires urgent intervention to ensure its sustainability. The study demonstrates the effectiveness of modern analytical tools such as LIBS in supporting environmental monitoring compared to traditional measurement methods, highlighting the need for integrated management policies to protect the ecosystem. |

| Summary, etc. | تهدف الحكومة المصرية ضمن "رؤية مصر 2030" إلى حماية النظم البيئية الساحلية، مع التركيز على الهدف 14 المتعلق بالحفاظ على الموارد البحرية. وتُعد بحيرة إدكو، إحدى أكبر البحيرات الشمالية في مصر، وهي عرضة للتدهور البيئي بسبب الأنشطة البشرية مثل الصرف الزراعي والصناعي والصحي، مما يستدعي تقييمًا دقيقًا لحالتها البيئية<br/>وتوصل البحث الى انه رغم أن بحيرة إدكو لا تزال ضمن الحدود الآمنة نسبيًا، فإن التلوث المتصاعد في رواسبها يستدعي تدخلًا عاجلاً لضمان استدامتها. تُظهر الدراسة فعالية الأدوات التحليلية الحديثةمثل (LIBS) في دعم الرصد البيئي مقارنه بالطرق التقليدية في القياس، مع الحاجة إلى سياسات إدارة متكاملة لحماية النظام البيئي. |
