| Summary, etc. | هدفت الدراسة إلى الكشف عن الفروق العمرية التى تطرأ على مفهوم تنظيم الذات لدى الجنسين خلال مراحل الطفولة المتأخرة والمراهقة المبكرة والمراهقة المتوسطة .كما هدفت إلى الكشف عن صدق البناء العاملى لنموذج "ماكليلاند" الذى يفترض وجود ثلاثة أبعاد رئيسية لتنظيم الذات هى : المكون المعرفى والمكون الوجدانى والمكون السلوكى .تكونت عينة الدراسة من 584طفلا ومراهقا ، وتتراوح أعمارهم ما بين 9 إلى 18 سنة .طبق مقياس تنظيم الذات - إعداد الباحثة – على الأطفال والمراهقين .كشفت نتائج الدراسة عن صحة نموذج "ماكليلاند" لتنظيم الذات وأنه مفهوم متعدد الأبعاد وله ثلاث مكونات هم المكون المعرفى والسلوكى والوجدانى لتنظيم الذات .كما أشارت نتائج الدراسة إلى عدم وجود فروق دالة للعمر فى المراحل العمرية للدراسة ووجود فروق بين الجنسين فى اتجاه الذكور فى الدرجة الكلية لتنظيم الذات وفى المكون المعرفى والسلوكى بينما أظهرت الإناث تفوقا فى المكون الوجدانى لتنظيم الذات فى المراحل العمرية الثلاث . |

| Summary, etc. | The present study aimed to examine the age differences in self – regulation between genders during the stages of late childhood, early adolescence, and middle adolescence.<br/>It also aimed to examine McClelland, s structural -functional model, which proposes the existence of three main dimensions for self -regulation: the cognitive component, the emotional component, and the behavioral component. The study sample consisted of 584 children and adolescents, aged between 9 and 18 years, and was applied to both children and adolescents. The study results revealed significant differences in self -regulation. Additionally, the results indicated that the cognitive and behavioral components were present in boys at a higher level than in girls, who relied more on the emotional component in self -regulation across all three age stages |
