Summary, etc. Bacterial infections pose a serious threat to public health and <br/>economies. Treating bacterial infections remains a major problem in modern <br/>medicine. Thiazoles and Schiff bases are interesting molecules that <br/>demonstrated intriguing antibacterial applications, especially excellent <br/>antibacterial activity. In this thesis, a wide spectrum of thiazole-based Schiff <br/>bases is prepared as potential antibacterial agents. The targeted products are <br/>prepared via a typical Hantzsch thiazole protocol involved reacting a ternary <br/>mixture of salicylaldehydes, thiosemicarbazide, and the appropriate α-<br/>bromoketones or hydrazonyl chlorides. The reaction was mediated in dioxane <br/>at reflux in the presence of triethylamine. The new products were screened <br/>against different bacteria strains. Schiff bases 8f and 21f demonstrated the <br/>most powerful efficacy against all tested bacteria. They outperformed <br/>ciprofloxacin in its activity against S. aureus and E. faecalis, with MIC/MBC <br/>values of 2.0/4.0 and 1.8/3.7 µM, respectively. Schiff base 8f outperformed <br/>inhibitory activity compared to linezolid with an MIC/MBC of 4.0/16.2 µM <br/>against MRSA ATCC:33591 and ATCC:43300. Schiff base 8f had <br/>comparable activity to linezolid with MIC/MBC of 8.1/32.4 and 4.0/16.2 µM <br/>against VRE ATCC:51299 and VRE ATCC:51575, respectively. <br/>Additionally, Schiff base 21f displayed promising MurB inhibitory activity <br/>with an IC50 of 4.6 µM.

Summary, etc. شكل العدوى البكتيرية تهديدًا خطيرًا للصحة العامة والاقتصاد. ولا يزال علاج هذه العدوى يُمثل مشكلةً رئيسيةً في الطب الحديث. تُعدّ الثيازولات وقواعد شيف جزيئاتٍ مثيرةً للاهتمام أظهرت تطبيقاتٍ مضادةً للبكتيريا مثيرةً للاهتمام، لا سيما نشاطها المضاد للبكتيريا الممتاز. في هذه الأطروحة، يتم تحضير مجموعةٍ واسعةٍ من قواعد شيف القائمة على الثيازول كعوامل مضادةٍ للبكتيريا محتملة.تُحضَّر المنتجات المستهدفة وفقًا لبروتوكول Hantzsch ثيازول النموذجي، ويتضمن تفاعل خليط ثلاثي من ساليسيل ألدهيدات، وثيوسيميكاربازيد، وα-بروموكيتونات أو كلوريدات الهيدرازونيل المناسبة. ويُجرى التفاعل في الديوكسان بوجود ثلاثي إيثيل أمين. وفُحصت المنتجات الجديدة ضد سلالات بكتيرية مختلفة.أظهرت المنتجات الجديدة طيفًا واسعًا من النشاط المثبط ضد البكتيريا المختبرة. أظهر بعضها نشاطًا ملحوظًا ضد S. aureus وE. faecalis، بقيم MIC/MBC تصل إلى 2.0/4.0 ميكرومولار. كما أظهر بعضها نشاطًا ملحوظًا ضدMRSA و VRE بقيم MIC/MBC تصل الى 4.0/16.2 ميكرومولار.
