| Summary, etc. | التغير في السياسة الخارجية لكل من الإمارات والبحرين، من خلال توقيع اتفاقيات التطبيع مع إسرائيل، أحدث تحولات جوهرية في العلاقات الإقليمية، انعكست بشكل سلبي على القضية الفلسطينية. فقد أدى التطبيع الإماراتي إلى تداعيات سياسية تمثلت في إضعاف الدعم العربي التقليدي للحقوق الفلسطينية، مع التركيز على المصالح الوطنية كالأمن الاقتصادي والتكنولوجي، بالإضافة إلى تداعيات ثقافية وأمنية عززت من شرعية الاحتلال الإسرائيلي. أما البحرين، فقد تبنت نهجاً مشابهاً للإمارات، مع التركيز على بناء علاقات ثنائية مع إسرائيل دون ربطها بحل عادل للقضية الفلسطينية، مما أدى إلى تقويض الموقف الفلسطيني على الساحة الدولية. وفيما يتعلق بالحرب على غزة عام 2023، خاصة بعد عملية "طوفان الأقصى"، فقد سلطت الضوء على التحديات التي تواجه الدول المطبعة، إذ أظهرت الحرب أن مسار التطبيع لم ينجح في تحقيق الاستقرار الإقليمي، بل زاد من حدة الانتقادات الشعبية والدبلوماسية تجاه الإمارات والبحرين، ورغم المساعدات الإنسانية التي قدمتها الإمارات لغزة، فإن مواقفها لم ترقَ إلى مستوى دعم الحقوق الفلسطينية، مما أثار تساؤلات حول جدوى هذه الاتفاقيات في ظل استمرار الاحتلال والتوترات الإقليمية. |

| Summary, etc. | The UAE and Bahrain's shift in foreign policy with normalization agreements with Israel has effectively altered regional dynamics for the worse, hastening the marginalization of the Palestinian question. UAE normalization generated enormous political backlash, most significantly undercutting long-standing Arab solidarity with Palestinian rights when national interests—particularly economic and technological security—became paramount. This transformation also had security and cultural aspects that inadvertently renewed the legitimacy of Israel's occupation. Bahrain followed a parallel track, insisting on bilateral relations with Israel while deliberately decoupling them from the search for a just solution for Palestine, thereby undermining the Palestinian cause on the international level.<br/>The 2023 Gaza war, especially after Operation Protective Edge, revealed the inherent contradictions of normalization. The war underscored the failure of such agreements to bring regional stability but instead heighten domestic and international resistance against the UAE and Bahrain. While the UAE granted humanitarian aid to Gaza, its policy was far short of significant support for Palestinian rights, questioning whether normalization had a chance against continued occupation and rising regional tensions. |
