| Summary, etc. | هدفت الدراسة إلى التعرف علي الدور الوسيط للمساندة الاجتماعية في العلاقة بين كل من الأداء الوظيفي الأسري والضغوط النفسية لدي أمهات الأطفال ذوى اضطراب طيف التوحد، والكشف عن العلاقات المباشرة وغير المباشرة بين المساندة الاجتماعية والأداء الوظيفي الأسري والضغوط النفسية لدي أمهات الأطفال ذوى اضطراب طيف التوحد، وتكونت عينة الدراسة من (50) من أمهات الأطفال ذوي اضطراب طيف التوحد، تراوحت أعمارهم بين ( 28: 49 ) عامًا، واعتمدت الدراسة على المنهج الوصفي الارتباطي السببي المقارن، وقامت الباحثة بإعداد مقياس (المساندة الاجتماعية؛ والأداء الوظيفي الأسري؛ والضغوط النفسية)، وأشارت نتائج الدراسة إلى أن النموذج المقترح الذي يوضح الدور الوسيط للمساندة الاجتماعية في العلاقة بين الأداء الوظيفي الأسري والضغوط النفسية لدى أمهات الأطفال ذوى اضطراب طيف التوحد يتمتع بمؤشرات جودة مطابقة جيدة، ووجود تأثير مباشر للمساندة الاجتماعية في العلاقة بين الأداء الوظيفي الأسري والضغوط النفسية لدى أمهات الأطفال ذوي اضطراب طيف التوحد. |

| Summary, etc. | The study aimed to identify the mediating role of social support in the relationship between family functioning and psychological stress among mothers of children with autism spectrum disorder, and to reveal the direct and indirect relationships between social support, family functioning and psychological stress among mothers of children with autism spectrum disorder. The study sample consisted of (50) mothers of children with autism spectrum disorder, whose ages ranged between (28 and 49) years. The study relied on the descriptive, causal, and comparative method, and the researcher prepared a scale (social support, family functional performance, and psychological stress), The results of the study indicated that the proposed model, which explains the mediating role of social support in the relationship between family functional performance and psychological stress among mothers of children with autism spectrum disorder, has good goodness-of-fit indicators, and the presence of a direct effect of social support in the relationship between family functional performance and psychological stress among mothers of children with autism spectrum disorder. |
