| Summary, etc. | هدف البحث الحالي إلى تطوير منهج الحاسب الالي في ضوء مهارات القرن الحادي والعشرين والتحقق من فاعلية المنهج في تنمية التنور التكنولوجي لدى طلاب المرحلة المتوسطة بالمملكة العربية السعودية، ولتحقيق هذ الهدف تم إعداد قائمة بمهارات القرن الحادي والعشرين اللازم توفرها في مقررات الحاسب الالي للمرحلة المتوسطة، وتم اختيار وحدة أتحكم بحاسوبي للصف الثالث متوسط كوحدة مطورة، وتم إعداد المواد التعليمية المتمثلة في الوحدة المطورة التجريبية ودليل المعلم وكتاب الطالب، وتم إعداد اختبار تحصيل للبعد المعرفي للتنور التكنولوجي، واختبار أداء للبعد المهاري للتنور التكنولوجي، وتم اختيار مجموعة البحث من طلاب الصف الثالث المتوسط بمدرسة الفاروق التابعة لمحافظة القنفذة، ثم تطبيق أدوات البحث على المجموعة قبليا، ثم تدريس الوحدة المطورة وتطبيق أدوات البحث بعديًا. وبعد معالجة النتائج احصائيا أظهرت النتائج على فاعلية تدريس الوحدة المطورة في تنمية البعد المعرفي والبعد المهاري من أبعاد التنور التكنولوجي. ويوصى البحث الحالي بإعادة النظر في مناهج الحاسب الالي في التعليم وبنائها أو تحديثها في ضوء مهارات القرن الحادي والعشرين. |

| Summary, etc. | The current study aims to develop the computer science curriculum in light of 21st-century skills and to examine its effectiveness in enhancing technological literacy among middle school students in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. To achieve this objective, a list of essential 21st-century skills required in middle school computer science curricula was developed. The "I Control My Computer" unit for the third intermediate grade was selected as a modified instructional unit. Educational materials, including the experimental developed unit, a teacher’s guide, and a student’s textbook, were prepared. Additionally, an achievement test was designed to assess the cognitive dimension of technological literacy, along with a performance test to evaluate the skill-based dimension.The research sample consisted of third-grade intermediate students from Al-Farouq School in Al-Qunfudhah Governorate. The research instruments were administered to the group in a pre-test phase, followed by the instruction of the developed unit, and then a post-test phase. After statistical analysis of the results, findings indicated the effectiveness of teaching the developed unit in enhancing both the cognitive and skill- based dimensions of technological literacy. The study recommends revising, reconstructing, or updating computer science curricula in education to align with 21st- century skills. |
