Summary, etc. This thesis investigates the optimization of quantitative accuracy in emission tomography, with particular emphasis on tumor volume and standardized uptake value (SUV) measurements in PET/CT imaging. Advanced reconstruction techniques, including time of flight (TOF) and point spread function (PSF) modeling, were evaluated to assess their impact on recovery coefficients, image quality, and quantitative reliability. The influence of reconstruction parameters such as matrix size, voxel size, number of iterations and subsets, and postfiltering was systematically analyzed. The results demonstrated that optimized reconstruction settings significantly improve tumor volume quantification while reducing partial volume effects and Gibbs artifacts. Furthermore, adherence to international harmonization guidelines enhances reproducibility and comparability across different PET systems. These findings support the use of tailored reconstruction strategies to achieve accurate and reliable quantitative PET imaging for clinical and research applications

Summary, etc. تهدف هذه الدراسة إلى تحسين دقة القياسات الكمية في التصوير المقطعي بالإصدار البوزيتروني/الأشعة المقطعية (PET/CT)، مع التركيز على تحديد حجم الورم وقيمة الامتصاص القياسية (SUV). تم تقييم تقنيات إعادة البناء المتقدمة، بما في ذلك زمن الطيران (TOF) ودالة الانتشار النقطية (PSF)، لدراسة تأثيرها على معاملات الاسترداد وجودة الصورة ودقة القياسات. كما تم تحليل تأثير معايير إعادة البناء المختلفة مثل حجم المصفوفة، حجم الفوكسل، عدد التكرارات والمجموعات، والترشيح بعد إعادة البناء (postfiltering). أظهرت النتائج أن ضبط معايير إعادة البناء يساهم بشكل كبير في تحسين دقة تحديد حجم الورم وتقليل آثار الحجم الجزئي وتشوهات جيبس. كما أن الالتزام بتوصيات المعايير الدولية يسهم في تعزيز قابلية المقارنة والموثوقية بين أجهزة PET المختلفة. تدعم هذه النتائج استخدام استراتيجيات إعادة بناء مخصصة لتحقيق قياسات كمية دقيقة وموثوقة في التطبيقات السريرية والبحثية.
