| Summary, etc. | تبلورت مشكلة الدراسة في البحث عن "الصورة الذهنية عن المرأة المصرية والأمريكية وثقافة المشاركة في المجال العام" من منظور تحليلي مقارن، حيث سعت إلى فهم كيفية تشكل هذه الصورة من وجهة نظر المرأة لذاتها ونظرة الرجل لها، وتأثير العوامل الثقافية، الاجتماعية، التعليمية، الإعلامية، الدينية، والاقتصادية على مشاركتها في المجال العام وفقًا لاختلاف السياقات بين المجتمعين المصري والأمريكي. وقد اعتمدت الباحثة على المنهج الوصفي والمقارن، مستخدمةً استمارة استبيان قائمة على مقياس ليكرت الثلاثي، إضافة إلى مقابلات متعمقة. شملت العينة العمدية 239 فردا، بواقع (119 فردًا من المجتمع المصري و120 من المجتمع الأمريكي)، مع مراعاة التوازن بين الجنسين ضمن الفئة العمرية (18-65 عامًا) لتحليل الفروقات في التصورات. كما أجرت الباحثة مقابلات متعمقة مع (19 فردا). شملت هذه العينة 7 أفراد من خلفية ثقافية مزدوجة (مصرية-أمريكية)، و12 فردا من (خلفية أمريكية بحتة)، مما أضفي بُعدًا نوعيًا مهمًا عزز نتائج التحليل وعمّق الفهم الثقافي المتبادل. |

| Summary, etc. | The problem of the study crystallized in the search for: "The Stereotype of Egyptian and American Women and Culture of Participation in the Public Sphere" from a comparative analytical perspective. The study aimed to understand how this image is formed from the woman's self-view and the man's view of her, as well as the impact of cultural, social, educational, media, religious, and economic factors on her participation in the public sphere, according to the differing contexts between Egyptian and American societies.The researcher relied on a Descriptive Analytical approach, using a questionnaire based on a three-point Likert scale, in addition to in-depth interviews. The purposive sample included 239 individuals, with 119 from The Egyptian society and 120 from The American society, ensuring gender balance within the age range of 18-65 years to analyze differences in perceptions. The researcher also conducted in-depth interviews with 19 participants, including (7 with a Dual Cultural Background) "Egyptian-American" and (12 with a Purely American background), which added an important qualitative dimension that enriched the analysis and deepened mutual cultural understanding. |
