| Summary, etc. | Purpose: The aim of this study was to determine the difference between the effect of <br/>kinesiotape and myofascial release in the treatment of postnatal low back pain. Subjects: <br/>Sixty women complaining from postnatal low back pain participated in this study. They <br/>were selected randomly from Outpatient Clinic of Obstetrics department in Om El <br/>Masryeen General Hospital in Giza. Their ages ranged from 20 to 35 years old. Their <br/>body mass index (BMI) didn't exceed 30 kg/m2. They were in postnatal period by 6-8 <br/>weeks. All women were diagnosed by the physician as postnatal low back pain. Design: <br/>The design of this study was randomized controlled study (Two groups pre-test post-test <br/>design). They were divided randomly into two equal groups (A&B). Group A: It was <br/>consisted of thirty women with postnatal low back pain. They were treated by kinesiotape <br/>three times per week for 4 weeks. Group B: It was consisted of thirty women with <br/>postnatal low back pain. They were treated by myofascial release for 25 minutes, three <br/>times per week for 4 weeks. Methods: Evaluations of all women in both groups (A&B) <br/>were done before and after the treatment program through measuring pain intensity using <br/>VAS, lumbar flexion and extension range of motion using Modified Schober method as <br/>well as lateral flexion for right and left sides using tape measurement. Results: The <br/>results of this study found that, within groups, there was a statistically significant decrease <br/>(P<0.01) in low back pain intensity and significant increase in range of motion of lumbar <br/>flexion, lumbar extension and lumbar lateral flexion in both groups (A&B) post treatment. <br/>Between groups, pre treatment, there was no statistically significant difference between <br/>both groups (A&B) in low back pain intensity and range of motion of lumbar flexion, <br/>lumbar extension and lumbar lateral flexion. While, post treatment, there was a <br/>statistically significant difference between both groups (A&B) (P<0.01) in low back pain <br/>intensity and range of motion of lumbar flexion, lumbar extension and lumbar lateral <br/>flexion (with favor of group A). Conclusion: Accordingly, it can be concluded that <br/>kinesio taping is more effective than myofascial release technique in reducing post natal <br/>low back pain intensity and increasing range of motion of lumbar spine. |

| Summary, etc. | الهدف:هدفت هذه الدراسة إلى تحديد الفرق بين تأثير أشرطة الكينيسيو والإنفراج الليفي العضلي في علاج آلام أسفل الظهر بعد الولادة.الأشخاص:شاركت في هذه الدراسة ستون امرأة يعانين من آلام أسفل الظهر بعد الولادة. تم اختيارهن عشوائيًا من العيادة الخارجية بقسم التوليدبمستشفى أم المصريين العام بالجيزة. تراوحت أعمارهن بين ٢٠ و٣٥ عامًا. لم يتجاوز مؤشر كتلة الجسم (BMI) لديهن ٣٠ كجم/م². كنّ في فترة ما بعد الولادة بفترة تتراوح بين ٦ و٨ أسابيع. تم تشخّيص جميع النساء من قبل الطبيب بأنهن يعانين من آلام أسفل الظهر بعد الولادة.التصميم:تم تصميم هذه الدراسة عشوائيًا (تصميم مجموعتين قبل الاختبار وبعده).قُسِّمت المشاركات عشوائيًا إلى مجموعتين متساويتين (أ و ب). المجموعة أ: تألفت من ثلاثين امرأة يعانين من آلام أسفل الظهر بعد الولادة. عولجن بأشرطة الكينيسيو ثلاث مرات أسبوعيًا لمدة أربعة أسابيع. المجموعة ب: تألفت من ثلاثين امرأة يعانين من آلام أسفل الظهر بعد الولادة. عولجن بالإنفراج الليفي العضلي لمدة ٢٥ دقيقة، ثلاث مرات أسبوعيًا لمدة أربعة أسابيع.التقييم:تم تقييم جميع النساء في كلتا المجموعتين (أ و ب) قبل وبعد برنامج العلاج من خلال قياس شدة الألم باستخدام المؤشرالبصري للألم (VAS)، ونطاق حركة الثني والمدّ القطني باستخدام طريقة شوبر المعدلة، بالإضافة إلى الثني الجانبي الأيمن باستخدام شريط القياس.النتائج: أظهرت نتائج هذه الدراسة داخل المجموعتين، كان هناك انخفاض ذو دلالة إحصائية (p < 0.01) في شدة آلام أسفل الظهر وزيادة كبيرة في نطاق حركة الثني والمدّ القطني والثني الجانبي القطني الأيمن في كلتا المجموعتين (أ و ب) بعد العلاج.بين المجموعتين، قبل العلاج، لم يكن هناك فرق ذو دلالة إحصائية بين المجموعتين (أ و ب) في شدة آلام أسفل الظهر ونطاق حركة الثني والمدّ القطني والثني الجانبي القطنيالأيمن.بينما، بعد العلاج، كان هناك فرق ذو دلالة إحصائية بين المجموعتين (أ و ب) (P < 0.01) في شدة آلام أسفل الظهر ومدى حركة ثني وتمديد أسفل الظهر والثني الجانبي القطني (لصالح المجموعة أ).الخلاصة:وبناءً على ذلك، يمكن الاستنتاج أن أشرطة الكينيسيو أكثر فعالية من تقنية الإنفراج الليفي العضلي في تقليل شدة آلام أسفل الظهر بعد الولادة وزيادة مدى حركة العمود الفقري القطني. |
