Summary, etc. This research addresses the challenges in estimating Remaining Useful Life (RUL) for <br/>equipment in physics and industrial systems, essential for ensuring reliability and <br/>safety. Traditional methods often suffer from large model sizes, high memory <br/>consumption, and slow inference speeds, which are impractical for real-time use and <br/>resource-constrained environments like Internet Of things (IoT) devices. Our study <br/>introduces innovative binarization techniques for recurrent neural networks to reduce <br/>model size and memory needs, improve green computing. The research balances <br/>computational efficiency with accuracy in RUL estimation, using a set of metrics <br/>including predictive accuracy, computational efficiency, memory reduction, and a <br/>scoring function that penalizes late predictions, crucial to preventing disasters in <br/>nuclear settings.
