Generalized Order Statistics )GOS) represent a modern and extended <br/>framework of classical order statistics, offering a flexible and unified <br/>approach to modeling ordered data beyond simple ascending or descending <br/>arrangements. Unlike classical order statistics which rank observations <br/>purely by size GOS allow for more complex selection schemes that <br/>incorporate biased, truncated, or non-standard distributions. <br/>Kamps (1995) introduced GOS as a unified structure that encompasses <br/>major models such as ordinary order statistics, record values, and reversed <br/>order statistics. This unified perspective has enabled more precise <br/>analytical tools for studying distributional properties and expanding <br/>applications across industrial statistics, reliability analysis, and survival <br/>studies. <br/> Several foundational works have strengthened the theoretical basis of <br/>GOS. Kamps and Gather (1997) developed statistical discrimination tools <br/>using GOS, while Keseling (1999) addressed general properties of ranked <br/>distributions. Cramer and Kamps (2000) advanced distributional <br/>characterization through GOS, and Ahsanullah (2000) contributed <br/>extensively to the theory of record values. Additional significant <br/>contributions from Ahmad (2007), Ahmad & Fawzy (2003), Khan et al. <br/>(2007), Kumar (2011), and Abdul-Moniem (2014, 2019, 2022) provided <br/>practical mathematical models for deriving moments and characterizing <br/>distributions using the GOS framework. <br/> This thesis aims to broaden the use of GOS by developing new <br/>recurrence relations for single and joint moments derived from weighted <br/>distributions, thereby enhancing the understanding and characterization of <br/>complex statistical models. The thesis consists of five chapters, along with <br/>Arabic and English summaries and a comprehensive reference list. |

تم في هذه الرسالة دراسة الإحصاءات الترتيبية المعممة المستمدة من بعض فئات توزيعات الأعمار الموزونة. وتركّزت الدراسة على اشتقاق علاقات تكرارية للعزوم الفردية والعزوم المركبة للإحصاءات الترتيبية المعممة، بهدف تبسيط المعالجة الرياضية وتقليل الجهد الحسابي المرتبط بحساب هذه العزوم بطرق مباشرة. وقد طُبِّقت العلاقات التكرارية المستنتجة على عدد من توزيعات الأعمار المهمة، من بينها التوزيع الأسي المنحاز بالطولLength-biased Exponential Distribution، وتوزيع رايلي المنحاز بالمساحةArea-biased Rayleigh Distribution، وتوزيع وايبول الموزونWeighted Weibull Distribution، بالإضافة إلى فئة عامة تُعرف بعائلة توزيعات الأعمار الموزونةWeighted Family of Life Distribution.<br/>كما تم اشتقاق صيغ تحليلية لعزوم Lوعزوم Lالمقتطعة، باعتبارها مقاييس إحصائية حصينة لوصف خصائص التوزيعات من حيث الشكل والتباين، خاصة في وجود القيم المتطرفة أو الانحراف في البيانات. وإلى جانب الإسهامات النظرية، أُجريت بعض الحسابات العددية المختارة لمتوسطات وتباينات الإحصاءات الترتيبية المعممة للتحقق من صحة العلاقات التكرارية المستنتجة وإبراز قابليتها للتطبيق العملي. وتؤكد النتائج المتحصل عليها فاعلية الإطار النظري المقترح وأهميته في تطبيقات تحليل الاعتمادية ونمذجة البقاء وتحليل بيانات الأعمار. |
