Summary, etc. This study investigates breathing facades as a modern architectural strategy aimed at improving natural ventilation and indoor air quality. It adopts a mixed-method approach that integrates qualitative and quantitative analyses with digital simulation to establish a comprehensive and practical design framework. The qualitative phase explores international case studies using inductive and comparative methods to identify best practices and design trends, while the quantitative phase analyzes 42 facade models through descriptive statistics to evaluate performance efficiency. Results from digital simulations confirm that optimized breathing facade designs significantly reduce indoor carbon dioxide accumulation, thus enhancing ventilation to improve indoor air quality. The study concludes by presenting an integrated design framework that promotes sustainability, enhances environmental performance, and supports the creation of healthier built environments in contemporary architecture

Summary, etc. تبحث هذه الدراسة في الواجهات المتنفسة باعتبارها نهجًا معماريًا معاصرًا يهدف إلى تحسين التهوية الطبيعية وجودة الهواء الداخلي. اعتمدت الدراسة على منهج مختلط يجمع بين التحليلين الكيفي والكمي مع المحاكاة الرقمية، لتطوير إطار تصميمي شامل وعملي. تناولت المرحلة الكيفية دراسة حالات عالمية باستخدام الأسلوبين الاستقرائي والمقارن بهدف تحديد أفضل الممارسات واتجاهات التصميم، بينما شملت المرحلة الكمية تحليل 42 نموذجًا لواجهات باستخدام الإحصاء الوصفي لتقييم كفاءة الأداء. وأكدت نتائج المحاكاة الرقمية أن التصميم الأمثل للواجهات المتنفسة يقلل من تراكم ثاني أكسيد الكربون داخل المباني، مما يحسن التهوية ويرفع جودة الهواء الداخلى. واختُتمت الدراسة بتقديم إطار تصميم متكامل يعزز الاستدامة ويرفع الأداء البيئي ويدعم إنشاء بيئات معيشية صحية في العمارة الحديثة
