| Summary, etc. | استهدفت الدراسة التعرف على دوافع استخدام الشباب المصرى لتطبيقات الهاتف المحمول ودورها فى زيادة مستويات الوعى المعرفى لديهم.وإعتمدت الدراسة فى إطارها النظرى وبناء مقاييسها على نظريتى الإستخدامات والإشباعات و الإعتماد على وسائل الإعلام، وإستخدمت منهج المسح وصحيفة الإستقصاء كأداة لجمع البيانات من عينة متاحة بلغ قوامها 420 مفردة من الشباب المصرى.وأجريت الدراسة خلال الفترة الزمنية من 30/8/2022 إلى 27/9/2022.وتوصلت الدراسة لعدة نتائج أهمها ما يلى :- - تتنوع مصادر الحصول على المعلومات والأخبار لدى المبحوثين من الشباب المصرى، وهو ما يؤكد كون وسائل الإعلام لا تتعارض مع بعضها البعض، وإنما تتكامل مع بعضها للحصول على الأخبار والمعلومات، وجاءت تطبيقات مواقع التواصل الإجتماعى فى المقدمة، ويليها التطبيقات الإخبارية للهواتف الذكية، ويليها الأصدقاء.- إرتفاع معدل تعرض الشباب للمحتوى الإخبارى عبر تطبيقات الهواتف الذكية.- من أبرز دوافع إستخدام الشباب المصرى للتطبيقات كانت متابعة الأحداث الجارية فى بلدهم.- إرتفاع وعى المبحوثين من الشباب المصرى فى إستخدام تطبيقات الهاتف المختلفة وخاصة تطبيقات التواصل الإجتماعى. |

| Summary, etc. | The study aimed to identify the motives behind Egyptian youth's use of mobile phone applications and their role in increasing their cognitive awareness.The study relied in its theoretical framework and the construction of its scales on the Uses and Gratifications theory and the Media Dependency theory. It employed the survey method and an electronic questionnaire as a tool for data collection from an available sample of 420 Egyptian youth.The study was conducted during the period from August 30, 2022, to September 27, 2022, and reached several results, the most important of which are the following:<br/>The sources of obtaining information and news among the Egyptian youth respondents vary, which confirms that media outlets do not conflict with each other, but rather complement each other to obtain news and information. Social networking applications came first, followed by news applications for smartphones, and then friends.High rate of youth exposure to news content through smartphone applications.Among the most prominent motives for Egyptian youth's use of applications was following current events in their country.High awareness of Egyptian youth respondents in using various phone applications, especially social networking applications. |
