Summary, etc. Our thesis describes a novel extendable beamforming architecture design in both of the system - level Hardware and Firmware design level . In the Hardware design , we were targeting the compactable application as well as the extendable applications where the power , level of integration and the feasible of the replication are critical . The three main components that have the greatest influence on the hardware design and system performance of the signal - processing board are the Analog to Digital Converters (ADCs) , the Beamformer transmitter and the FPGA
