Summary, etc.	Patients with symptomatic septal perforations require treatment, many surgeons advocating primary treatment with an obturator if conservative measures fail. Fifteen patients with symptomatic nasal septal perforations were treated with insertion of silicon nasal septal prosthesis under general anaesthesia. Questionnaires were given to those patients to asses improvement of symptoms and patient satisfaction
