Summary, etc.	This study was conducted to evaluate the effect of selection by using biotechnological methods on the productive performance of the Egyptain broiler breeder female line, Cairo B-2, after 7 generations of selection for increasing 6 week live body weight (LBW) . The performance of Cairo B-2 and RBC lines; LBW, at sexual maturity (BWSM), egg number (EN), and egg weight (EW) were evaluated at the 4 {u036D} {u036A} (G4), 5 {u036D} {u036A} (G5), 6 {u036D} {u036A} (G6), and 7 {u036D} {u036A} (G7) generations
