520 ## - SUMMARY, ETC.
Summary, etc. All surgical specialties rely on a detailed knowledge of the mechanisms of wound healing and frequently encounter the challenge of the treatment of chronic wounds. The healing of a wound requires a sequence of processes to occur in a characteristic manner, with distinct roles for a large number of different types of cells, growth factors, cytokines, and other agents. Although countless experimental as well as clinical studies have identified the key players and their role in wound repair, clinicians still face conditions in which the regular healing process is disturbed. Alterations of physiologic wound healing can occur in certain circumstances where dysregulation of the cellular processes can lead to excessive scarring, resulting in hypertrophic scars and keloids. On other occasions, abnormalities inwound repair result in deficient wound healing, as can be seen in chronic, non healing wounds. The aim of this review is to summarize the current understanding of the wound healing process, and closure, mainly focusing on the dynamic skin wound closure, and its strong important more focusing on the using of the new trend for support wound closure (siliconized elastomer)and comparing various techniques of management. To get the best and safest aesthetic and functional results
