Summary, etc.	Mi estudio aspira a estudiar el papel de la novela como una herramienta para la documentación de la historia de las revoluciones en los países de América Latina (México y la República de Haití). De esta manera, la novela se convierte en parte de un conjunto histórico que contiene una gran cantidad de credibilidad, y también se convierte en una fuente histórica importante como los mismos libros históricos documentados, aunque serán fuentes no tradicionales. Este estudio procura reflexionarse sobre la transformación del material histórico en un tejido narrativo de ficción. En este contexto, se estudian los libros que documentaron la historia de los dos países (México y Haití), además de los atributos de esta documentación a través de la técnica narrativa aplicada en las dos novelas: Los de abajo, (1916), del escritor mexicano Mariano Azuela (1873-1952), y El reino de este mundo, (1949), del escritor cubano Alejo Carpentier (1904-1980). El estudio se basa en el método de "El Nuevo Historicismo" del crítico literario estadounidense Stephen Greenblatt
