Summary, etc.	El presente estudio analizará una indiscutible tradición cultural en cuba que es la producción y el consumo del puro cubano conocido como el Habano. Asimismo, vamos a examinar dicho rasgo cultural desde dos perspectivas, primero, como patrimonio cultural y, segundo, como atractivo turístico. Para revelar el valor cultural del puro cubano, haremos uso de las diferentes teorías de los estudios culturales. Con Eltiempo, esos puros adoptaron nombres comerciales que se harían mundialmente famosos: Partagás, romeo y julieta, montecristo, o los churchill, que llevaban el apellido del famoso primer ministro británico, gran aficionado precisamente a la marca creada en su honor. En su momento, las grandes marcas de tabaco, para evitar las falsificaciones, desarrollaron unos bellísimos anillos impresos llamados vitolas, surgidos gracias al perfeccionamiento de la industria litográfica. Esas vitolas, a su vez, se convirtieron en los primeros reclamos de la publicidad moderna en el mundo, y hasta se afirma que la noticia de que las bellas cubanas enrollaban los puros sobre sus muslos agregaba al producto un atractivo componente erótico que contribuía a las ventas. La historia del tabaco cubano, de fama internacional, va más allá de ser un tabaco premium (el puro cubano) que va destinado al sector élite del mercado del tabaco, ya que se considera una indiscutible seña de identidad cubana. Por lo tanto, la agroindustria tabacalera cubana ha desarrollado otras dimensiones importantes, ya que se ha convertido en patrimonio de gran valor cultural que cuenta la historia de cuba la indígena, la poscolonial y la actual
