Summary, etc. Job Satisfaction (JS) is a widely studied subject in modern sciences. In various fields it became one of the most important measures decision makers and stakeholders want to investigate. It has many definitions, dimensions, and measures depending on the field of study and the purpose of analyzing it. However, scholars should show more attention to JS especially in developing countries like Egypt. JS has been intensively studied through various modeling. Many papers assumed JS a dependent variable in Generalized Linear Models (GLM) regressed on individual demographic variables such as age, sex, place of residence{u2026}etc. The Dataset is a subsample of the Egypt Labor Market Panel Survey (ELMPS) Round 2018 sample. It is a nationally representative sample as stated by the Economic Research Forum (ERF). They have accounted for the sampling attrition using weights. For the first time in Egypt ELMPS has included observations for JS starting Round 2012 and in what followed in the Round of 2018. Determinants of JS are modeled against overall JS. The determinants are grouped into three main groups, that is, the demographic and cultural determinants, the job characteristics determinants and the working condition/ environment determinants. The nature of the study and the type of variables accounts for the Ordinal Logistic Model (OLM) of overall JS on all determinants. The full model with all determinants included is considered. In the group of demographic and cultural determinants region of residence, highest education level, general health status, general attitudes, general feelings, and intentions to migrate significantly determine JS level of employees. In addition, there are several job characteristics that significantly predict the JS level of employees. These determinants are if job requires a skill, abilities the employees have, job stability, working at night, decency of tasks at work, and experience at current job
