The history of this DVD starts before the revolution of 25 January 2011, when Cairo University has launched a project funded by the Egyptian Ministry of Communications and Information Technology, to save the few encyclopedias and documents in its libraries . The Cultnat then took the initiative to save the entire contents of the libraries of the University of Cairo, including that of the central library contains encyclopedias and documents for over a century. The Cultnat has scanned the entire collection divided into 14 chapters and has recorded on a DVD before the title Al-Al-Magmoua Kamaliya (Kamalie the collection). The DVD contains the old maps of Egypt, Africa and around the world since the Pharaonic era until the discovery of the Americas and Australia.
