عرضت األطروحة مناهج التفكير األخالقي في مصر في القرن العشرين، وتمثمت بمنهجين: المنهج العقمي والمنهج النصي، وذلك من خالل تناولها لثالثة عشر شخصية، وانقسمت الدراسة إلى مقدمة وتمهيد وفصمين وخاتمة. تناول الفصل األول الجانب النظري لمناهج التفكير فعرف المناهج وأبرز أعالمها وأدوار أدوات المعرفة فيها، ودرس الفصل الثاني الجانب التطبيقي لمقضايا األخالقية الثالث المختارة، وهي: قضية اإللزام األخالقي، والمسؤولية األخالقية، والجزاء األخالقي، مع عرض موقف أعالم المناهج منها

The thesis presented methods of moral thinking in Egypt in the twentieth
century, they were two methods: the rational, and the textual, through
studying thirteen scholars. It consists of preface, introduction, 2 chapters,
and conclusion. The first chapter showed the theoretical aspect of the
thinking methods, it defined the methods, its scholars, and its knowledge
tools. The second chapter examined the practical aspect of the three
selected ethical issues: the moral compulsion, moral responsibility, and
moral requital, and how the scholars understd them
