Dissertation note: Thesis (Ph.D)-Cairo University, 2024. Summary: BioHPP, a modified PEEK with 20% ceramic fillers, is highly biocompatible and non-allergic. High-quality prosthetic restorations could be produced because to BioHPP's exceptional stability, great ideal polishable characteristics, and aesthetically pleasing white tone. This clinical investigation goal was to compare milled BioHPP PEEK copings veneered with CAD/CAM composite resin to milled BioHPP PEEK copings veneered manually in order to assess patient satisfaction, marginal adaption, and biocompatibility. Thirty two PEEK crown veneered with composite (sixteen in each group) were fabricated for anterior teeth requiring full coverage restorations in esthetic zone. The patients were divided into two groups according to the type of veneering used. Group I: (control group) manual veneered crowns Group II: (intervention group) CAD/CAM veneered crowns The fabrication of the crowns was performed using CAM\CAM milling for the coppings Coping were air abraded with 110 μm Al2O3 powder at 2.5 bar and conditioned using visio.link ,the venerring was done manually for group I and the milling CAD/CAM veneer for group II the and cemented to copings using combo.lign resin cement . All teeth surfaces were dried gently for 5 seconds. Luting resin cemen1 was applied to the fitting surfaces of the crown. Patient satisfaction was evaluated according to the rating score while Marginal adaptation and Biocompatibility were evaluated according to the United States Public Health Services (USPHS) criteria. Patient satisfaction results at baseline, the mean satisfaction scores were similar between groups, with no significant difference (p=0.1536). After 6 months, scores increased in both groups, but the difference between groups remained non-significant (p=0.0660).
