Summary: This study aims to investigate the antecedents of consumption intention toward green restaurants among Egyptian consumers by utilizing and extending the Theory of Planned Behavior (TPB). The research seeks to identify and validate the readily accessible beliefs that influence attitudes, subjective norms, and perceived behavioral control. The extended TPB included two domain-specific predictors (perceived value and moral obligation) to predict the consumption intention toward green restaurants.Summary: تهدف هذه الدراسة إلى التعرف علي مسببات نية الاستهلاك تجاه المطاعم الخضراء بين المستهلكين المصريين من خلال الاستفادة من نظرية السلوك المخطط وتوسيع نطاقها. تسعى الدراسة إلى تحديد وتوثيق المعتقدات الحاضرة في الذهن بسهولة (المعتقدات البارزة) والأكثر انتشاراً فيما يتعلق باستهلاك الطعام من المطاعم الخضراء، والتي تؤثر على الاتجاهات السلوكية والمعايير الذاتية المتصورة و التحكم السلوكي المدرك. بالإضافة للعوامل السابقة، تشمل نظرية السلوك المخطط الموسعة محددين خاصين بالسلوك قيد الدراسة (القيمة المدركة والالتزام الأخلاقي المدرك) للتنبؤ بنية الاستهلاك تجاه المطاعم الخضراء.
