يتكون ديوان "هياكونين إيشُّو" الذى جمعه الشاعر فوجيوارا نو-تيكا من مائة قصيدة من أشعار الواكا المميزة لمائة شاعر من أبرز الشعراء والشاعرات الذين يمثلون أدب بلاط النبلاء في عصر هيان، ومن بين المائة شاعر المختارين في هذا الديوان، هنالك إحدى وعشرون قصيدة من أشعار الواكا لشاعرات من نساء بلاط هيان، من بينهن أهم وأشهر الشاعرات اللاتي تركن بصمة كبيرة في تاريخ الأدب الياباني الكلاسيكي، وتنوعت اختيارات فوجيوارا نو-تيكا بين شاعرات من العائلة الإمبراطورية وشاعرات من وصيفات البلاط الإمبراطوري، لكن كانت غالبيتهن من وصيفات البلاط اللاتي أبدعن قصائد مميزة في دَلّت على قوة الشخصية وعمق الثقافة. وكان من بين هؤلاء الشاعرات الشاعرة كوشيكيبو نو-نايشي التى رحلت عن هذا العالم في سن صغيرة ولم تترك سوى ثلاث قصائد فقط من أشعار الواكا، ومع هذا فقد اختارها الشاعر فوجيوارا نو-تيكا لتكون واحدة من أهم الشاعرات في عصرها. ومن خلال تحليل قصائد كوشيكيبو نو-نايشي من أشعار الواكا الثلاث كانت النقطة المشتركة التى يمكن اعتبارها هويتها الشعرية، هي القدرة على إثبات وتوكيد الذات والقدرة على إلقاء أشعار الواكا ارتجالًا وخطف قلوب من يستمعون إلى أشعارها، والدليل على ذلك تناولها بشكل أقرب للأساطير في كتب السير والأساطير التى كُتبت عن شعراء وأدباء النبلاء في العصور التالية لعصر هيان.

The Anthology of “Hyakunin Isshu” which has been collected in the 13th century, does not have only literary value, but also gained a powerful image of education enough to affect the Japanese language itself and keep a strong rhythm upon it over the years. Fujiwara no-Teika who was a representative poet belonging to Heian’s high class nobles, has chosen these 100 poems to make this Anthology a piece of Heian period’s noble society, so that poems collected in “Hyakunin Isshu” contain a lot of secrets behind these episodes, stories and poets position in Heian society. There are 21 poems in the Anthology of “Hyakunin Isshu” told by women. These women have represented their lives and society inside these poems, so I think that analyzing this type of poems can be the key to know more about the Heian period (794-1185). [OOEYAMA] is a poem by Koshikibu no-Naishi that was chosen to be a model of a woman uses her intelligence and quick wittedness to show her strength. This is also mentioned in books and manuscripts of annotation like “Kokin Chomonshu” and “Fukuro no Soshi”, this proves that the reason made Teika choose such a poem is to refer to the real strength of women in that era.
The stories about Koshikibu no-Naishi have turned to a myth or an anecdote by time, so she died at age 26. Besides, more stories have been made about her and her mother the famous poet Izumi Shikibu whose poem [ARAZARAMU] is also chosen in the Anthology of “Hyakunin Isshu”. This shows us that behind the poet Koshikibu no-Naishi there are a lot of amazing secrets. So that I think that “Hyakunin Isshu” is more than a collection of poems. It is like a sketch showing us the Heian noble society clearly, and this must be the reason behind “Hyakunin Isshu”’s value
