يعد الساحل الشرقي الافريقي أحد أهم المناطق المؤثرة على الخريطة السياسية و الإقتصادية العالمية لاسيما منطقتنا العربية و الإسلامية ، و ذلك نظراً لما يمثله من موقع هام يجعله أحد أهم الطرق التجارية في العالم ، كذلك فإن هذا الموقع تميز بأهمية سياسية تمثلت في إتصاله من جهة بشرق و جنوب شبه الجزيرة العربية عن طريق البحر العربي و خليج عدن ، و من جهة اخرى لإتصاله بالهند عن طريق المحيط الهندي ، و تلك الأهميتين أعطت لشرق إفريقيا ميزة إجنماعية فريدة ، هي إجتماع أجناس مختلفة من البشر كالعرب و الفرس و الأفارقة و الهنود ، كل ما سبق أكسب زنجبار نظام نقدي فريد و معقد .

The eastern European coast is one of the most important regions influencing the global political and economic movement map, especially our Arab and left-handed regions, because of the important location it represents and is considered one of the most important cycling destinations in the world. Also, this site has political importance and is represented by its connection, on the one hand, to the east and south of the Arabian Peninsula via the Arabian Sea and the Gulf of Aden, and, on the other hand, its connection to India via the Indian Ocean. These two importance are specific to the distinct East, the specialized Ignamaria, which is the meeting of different races of people such as Arabs, Persians, Africans, and Indians. All of the above gave Zanzibar a unique monetary system in which foreign money interacted with local money .
