تتناول الدراسة تأثير وتداعيات التغير المناخي على الأمن الإنساني في إقليمي الجنوب الإفريقي كمثال على الجنوب العالمي وإقليم الشمال الأوروبي كمثال عن الشمال العالمي منذ عام 2015م إلى عام 2022م، وذلك في ضوء تحليل ومقارنة تأثير ظاهرة التغير المناخي على الأمن الإنساني للإقليمين، بجانب تحليل ومقارنة الجهود الوطنية والإقليمية والدولية في الإقليمين الرامية إلى تحقيق المواءمة والتأقلم والتكيف لمواجهة هذه التهديدات المناخية وتداعياتها. وتسعى الدراسة إلى المقارنة لمعرفة كيفية تعامل الجنوب العالمي والشمال العالمي مع القضايا العالمية المشتركة للكشف عن ملامح خصوصية التعامل لدي كلٍ منهما. كما توصلت الدراسة إلى خلاصات هامة بخصوص المقارنة بين الشمال العالمي والجنوب العالمي

The study examines the impact and implications of Climate Change on Human Security in the Southern African region as a representative of the Global South and the Northern European region as a representative of the Global North from 2015 to 2022. This is undertaken through analyzing and comparing the impact of Climate Change on Human Security in the two regions, alongside an analysis and comparison of national, regional, and international efforts aimed at achieving alignment and adaptation to address these climatic issues and their implications. Moreover, the study seeks to make a comparative assessment to understand how the Global South and Global North address common global issues, to reveal the distinctive features of the approaches employed by each. Furthermore, the study reached significant conclusions regarding the comparison between the Global North and the Global South.
