تنتمي هذه الدراسة إلى البحوث الوصفية حيث استخدم فيها منهج المسح بشقيه الوصفي والتحليلي على عينة من المكفوفين المطلعين على مجلة الأخبار برايل بهدف معرفة العوامل المؤثرة في اعتمادهم على المجلات المطبوعة بطريقة برايل، ودورها في تشكيل اتجاهاتهم تجاه القضايا الداخلية، وذلك على عينة قوامها 125 من المكفوفين المطلعين على مجلة الأخبار برايل، بالإضافة إلى تحليل جميع الأعداد الصادرة من المجلة منذ العدد الأول مارس 2017، وحتى ديسمبر 2022.
وقام الباحث باستخدام مجموعة من أدوات جمع البيانات تمثلت في استمارة الاستبيان بالمقابلة، المقابلات الشخصية، تحليل المضمون.
وتوصلت الدراسة إلى مجموعة من النتائج أبرزها
1- تعتمد المجلة على الفنون الصحفية الإخبارية – الخبر والتقرير- في المقام الأول عند تحرير موضوعاتها
2- تصدرت الفئات "الاجتماعية" مجال المادة الصحفية المستخدمة تحرير المجلة؛ بسبب اهتمام المجلة بإشباع حاجة ذوي الاحتياجات الخاصة بشكل عام والمكفوفين بشكل خاص.
3- جاءت الموضوعات الفنية والرياضية في مقدمة الموضوعات التي يفضل ذوي الاحتياجات الخاصة التعرض لها.
4- لم تساهم المجلة في إحداث أي تغيير سلوكي عند قراء المجلة تجاه قضايا الإرهاب التي تنشرها
5- التزمت مجلة الأخبار برايل بمسئوليتها الاجتماعية تجاه جمهورها بدرجة كبيرة
6- يعد التمويل أبرز العوامل المؤثرة على صدور المجلة

This study falls under the category of descriptive research, employing both descriptive and analytical survey methods on a sample of blind individuals who are readers of *Akhbar Braille* magazine. The aim was to identify the factors that influence their reliance on Braille printed magazines and their role in shaping their attitudes towards internal issues. The study sample consisted of 125 blind individuals who are readers of *Akhbar Braille*, in addition to analyzing all issues of the magazine from its first issue in March 2017 until December 2022.
The researcher utilized a set of data collection tools including an interview-based questionnaire, personal interviews, and content analysis.
The study arrived at several key findings:
1- The magazine primarily relies on journalistic news forms—news and reports—when editing its content.
2- Social" categories topped the field of journalistic material used in the magazine, due to the magazine's focus on satisfying the needs of people with disabilities in general, and the blind in particular.
3- Artistic and sports topics were among the top subjects preferred by people with special needs.
4- The magazine did not contribute to any behavioral change among its readers regarding the issues of terrorism it published.
5- Akhbar Braille* magazine has largely adhered to its social responsibility towards its audience.
6- Funding is the most prominent factor affecting the publication of the magazine.
