تهدف الدراسة الحالية إلى التعرف على دور مواقع التواصل الاجتماعي وعلاقتها بتعزيز ظاهرة الاغتراب الاجتماعي لدى أفراد الأسر المصرية، وتعتمد الدراسة في توجهها الإعلامي على نظرية" الاستخدامات والتأثيرات" كما اعتمدت على منهج المسح الإعلامي؛ ويتكون مجتمع الدراسة الميدانية من عدد من افراد الأسر المصرية ( زوج ، زوجة، أبناء) مستخدمي مواقع التواصل الاجتماعي ، وقد اعتمدت الباحثة على العينة العمدية المتاحة ، وتمثلت أداة الدراسة في استمارة الاستبيان، ومقياس لقياس أبعاد الاغتراب الاجتماعي (العزلة الاجتماعية، السلبية، الرفض، العجز، اللامعنى) حيث طبقت الاستمارة على عدد(٤١٦) مفردة من الأسر المصرية مستخدمي مواقع التواصل الاجتماعي.

The present study aims to recognize the role of social media sites and their relationship with the promotion of social alienation among members of Egyptian families. The study relies on the theory of "uses and effects" in its media orientation, as well as, on the media survey curriculum; the field study community consists of a few Egyptian families (husband, wife, children) users of social media sites. The researcher in the selection of the sample relied on the available intentional sample. The study tool was the questionnaire form and a measure of the dimensions of social alienation (social isolation, negative, rejection, incapacity, inconsistency) where the form was applied to the number of (416) a member of Egyptian families using social media sites.
