Summary: This thesis seeks to analyze the social responsibility activities and programs in banking sector operating in Egypt from an integrated perspective of social responsibility aimed at achieving sustainable development, In addition to identifying the goals that banks seek to achieve through their social practices and their priorities for selection of their social activities and programs , as well as monitoring the activities and initiatives they undertake in this framework , besides identifying social responsibility strategies used by banks and measuring their role in achieving sustainable development and alignment with the global agenda for sustainable development to achieve a set of proposals and recommendations that could help to develop the practice of CSR in banking sector, thus contributing to sustainable development.
