تشير إشكالية الدراسة إلى تأثير التكنولوجيا الرقمية على الهوية المصرية بين الشباب الجامعي، في ظل عالم انتشر فيه الانفتاح الثقافي والتقنيات والتطبيقات والتطورات المتلاحقة التي تغزو كل قطاعات النشاط البشري عن طريق الإنترنت والتطور التكنولوجي الهائل، والتي أسهمت في تغير مفهوم ودلالة الهوية الوطنية، وتتمثل مظاهر تأثيرها علي اللغة والدين والأزياء والتعليم وغيرها، فالشباب اليوم هم الأكثر ارتباطاً بابتكاراتها فإما يحققون من ورائها مكاسب علمية وتقنية، وإما يحصدون الفشل والخيبة، وقد تناولت العديد من الدراسات قضية الهوية، ولكن لم يلتفت إلي تأثير استخدام التكنولوجيا الحديثة على الشباب من خلال تغيير سلوكهم الاجتماعي، وتأثرهم بأفكار قادمة من الغرب تتعارض مع طبيعة مجتمعاتنا وقد تؤثر بالسلب أو بالإيجاب على علاقة بين الشباب ومجتمعاتهم. كما صارت مسألة الهوية تمثل أطروحة بحث رئيسة تفرض نفسها بقوة علي بساط البحث في كثير من ميادين المعرفة، وتمثل قضية محورية لندوات ومؤتمرات محلية وإقليمية ودولية عديدة، وبالتالي تبحث الدراسة سؤال محوري يتمثل في الكشف عن تأثير استخدام الشباب للتكنولوجيا الرقمية في الهوية المصرية، وذلك من خلال الإجراءات المنهجية في تطبيق الدراسة الوصفية، مستخدمه المنهج الوصفي التحليلي لتحقيق أهداف الدراسة، وذلك بالاعتماد على استمارة الاستبيان كأداة رئيسية لجمع البيانات، واختيار عينة عمدية من الطلاب الجامعيين في الجامعات المصرية من مستخدمي الوسائل التكنولوجية الحديثة.

The study indicates that the problem of the impact of digital technology on the Egyptian identity between the university youth, in a world in which the spread of cultural openness and techniques and applications of the successive developments that invades all sectors of human activity through the Internet and the enormous technological advances, which have contributed to a change in the concept of the significance of national identity, the manifestations of language, religion, education, and other costumes, the young people of today are the most closely behind either investigating scientific and technical gains, or reap failure and disappointment, and many studies have dealt with the issue of identity, but did not turn to the impact of the use of modern technology to young people through the change their social behavior, in the ideas coming from the west and inconsistent with the nature of our societies and impact negatively or positively on the relationship between young people and their communities. The question of identity has become a research thesis chairperson imposes itself on the table in many fields of knowledge, the central issue for the local, regional and international conferences and symposia, and thus the study is looking pivotal question is to reveal the impact of the use of digital technology in the young Egyptian identity, through methodological procedures in the application of the descriptive study, involving the descriptive approach analytical work to achieve the objectives of the study, depending on the form of the questionnaire as the main instrument of data collection as well as for the personal interviews with some of the specialists in Digitization, through a social survey, the selection of a deliberate sample of university students in the Egyptian universities of users of modern technological means.
