تناولت هذه الدراسة جامعة القاهرة فرع الخرطوم وأثرها في العلاقات المصرية السودانية من 1964-1992، وقد قسمت هذه الدراسة الي فصل تمهيدي وأربعة فصول على النحو التالي: الفصل التمهيدي : التعليم المصري في السودان قبل عام 1964 وبريطانيا وعرقلة الدور التعليمي في السودان لمؤسسات التعليم المصري في السودان، نشأة مدرسة فاروق الثانوية المصرية في السودان، فرع جامعة القاهرة بالخرطوم 1955-1964 فكرة الفرع وخطوات إنشائه، البنية التحتية للفرع وتطورات أعداد طلاب الفرع من 1955-1964. الفصل الأول: النظام التعليمي للفرع 1964- 1992 أولًا: نظام القبول بالفرع، مرحلة الليسانس والبكالريوس، المناهج والهدف منها، محتويات المناهج الدراسية، ثانيًا: نظام الدراسة بالفرع، وفتح الباب لشئون الدراسات العليا، تحديد اللوائح الداخلية للكليات الخاصة بشرط التقدم للدراسات العليا، الدبلومات، الماجيستير، الدكتوراه. الفصل الثاني: هيئة تدريس فرع جامعة القاهرة بالخرطوم 1964-1992 أولًا: اعداد هيئة التدريس بالفرع، ثانيًا: علاقة هيئة التدريس فرع جامعة القاهرة بالخرطوم بالمجتمع السوداني، ثالثًا: موقف الحكومة السودانية من هيئة التدريس المصرية الفصل الثالث: أثر فرع جامعة القاهرة بالخرطوم في العلاقات المصرية السودانية، الأثر الثقافي والفكري، الأثر الاجتماعي الفصل الرابع: إغلاق جامعة القاهرة فرع الخرطوم وأثره على العلاقات المصرية السودانية، أسباب اغلاق الفرع، موقف الحكومة السودانية في قرار اغلاق الفرع، الاستيلاء على الفرع، موقف الحكومة المصرية من إغلاق الفرع .

This study dealt with Cairo University, Khartoum branch, and its impact on the Egyptian-Sudanese relations from 1964-1992. This study was divided into an introductory chapter and four chapters as follows:
Egyptian education in Sudan before 1964 and Britain and the obstruction of the role: the preliminary educational chapter in Sudan for the Egyptian educational institutions in Sudan, the establishment of the Egyptian Farouk Secondary School Sudan, Cairo University branch in Khartoum 1955-1964, the idea of the branch and steps in its establishment, the infrastructure of the branch and developments in preparing the branch’s students from 1955 -1964 The first chapter: the educational system of the branch -1964-1992 first: the admission system in the branch, the BA and bachelor’s degrees, the curricula and their objectives, the contents of the curricula, second: the branch’s study system, opening the door to postgraduate affairs, determining the internal regulations of the faculties for the condition of applying for higher studies diplomas, Masters, Ph.D The second chapter: the teaching staff of the Cairo University branch in Khartoum 1964-1992 First: the preparation of the teaching staff in the branch, second: the relationship of the teaching staff of the Cairo University branch in Khartoum with Sudanese society third: the position of the Sudanese government on the Egyptian faculty.
