تناقش هذه الرسالة السياسة الخارجية الإيرانية تجاه اليمن وتأثيرها على الأمن القومي السعودي. تُظهر السياسة الإيرانية في اليمن مدى تعقيد وتشابك الأهداف الاستراتيجية والجيوسياسية التي تسعى لتحقيقها. من خلال دعم جماعة أنصار الله (الحوثيين)، تسعى إيران إلى نشر الفكر الشيعي الاثني عشري وتعزيز نفوذها في المنطقة، بالإضافة إلى تحقيق مكاسب جيوسياسية مثل السيطرة على مضيق باب المندب. تعتمد إيران على مجموعة متنوعة من الأدوات، تشمل الدعم العسكري واللوجستي والدبلوماسي والإعلامي، لتحقيق أهدافها. العلاقة بين إيران والحوثيين تمتد لعقود، وقد أثّر الدعم الإيراني بشكل كبير على تطور الصراع في اليمن، مما زاد من التحديات الأمنية للمملكة العربية السعودية. استجابةً لهذه التهديدات، أطلقت السعودية حملة عسكرية "عاصفة الحزم" في عام 2015، وتهدف إلى استعادة الشرعية في اليمن وتقليل نفوذ الحوثيين. تتطلب التحديات المستقبلية التي تواجه السعودية استراتيجيات شاملة تجمع بين الأدوات العسكرية والدبلوماسية والاقتصادية لتحقيق الأمن القومي. تؤكد الرسالة أن تحقيق استقرار طويل الأمد في اليمن والمنطقة يتطلب تعاوناً إقليمياً ودولياً وجهوداً مشتركة من جميع الأطراف المعنية لتحقيق السلام والأمن.

This thesis examines Iran's foreign policy towards Yemen and its impact on Saudi national security. Iran's policy in Yemen highlights the complexity and interconnection of its strategic and geopolitical objectives. Through its support for the Ansar Allah (Houthi) movement, Iran aims to spread Twelver Shiism and bolster its influence in the region, in addition to achieving geopolitical gains such as control over the Bab el-Mandeb Strait. Iran employs a variety of tools to achieve its goals, including military, logistical, diplomatic, and media support. The relationship between Iran and the Houthis extends over decades, and Iranian support has significantly influenced the development of the conflict in Yemen, thereby increasing security challenges for Saudi Arabia. In response to these threats, Saudi Arabia launched the military campaign "Operation Decisive Storm" in 2015, aimed at restoring legitimacy in Yemen and diminishing Houthi influence. The future challenges facing Saudi Arabia require comprehensive strategies that combine military, diplomatic, and economic tools to achieve national security. The thesis asserts that achieving long-term stability in Yemen and the region necessitates regional and international cooperation, as well as joint efforts from all concerned parties to achieve peace and security.
