تشهد شبكات التواصل الاجتماعي انتشارًا واسعًا للأخبار الزائفة التي تؤثر سلبًا على الرأي العام والاستقرار الاجتماعي. تتناول هذه الدراسة ظاهرة الأخبار الزائفة وتأثيراتها المجتمعية من خلال دراسة تحليلية وميدانية. تعتمد الدراسة على المنهج الوصفي التحليلي وتستند إلى نظريتي المجال العام وثراء الوسيلة لفهم كيفية انتشار الأخبار الزائفة على منصات التواصل مثل فيسبوك، ودور هذه الأخبار في تشكيل توجهات المستخدمين.
تركز الدراسة على تحليل الأخبار الزائفة من حيث مصادرها وأهدافها ودوافع تزييفها، مع تقديم توصيات لمواجهة هذه الظاهرة. استخدمت الدراسة أساليب متنوعة لجمع البيانات، بما في ذلك تحليل المحتوى واستبيان ميداني تم توزيعه على 400 مستخدم لمواقع التواصل الاجتماعي، مما يتيح فهمًا أعمق لآليات التفاعل مع الأخبار الزائفة.
أظهرت النتائج أن الأخبار الزائفة تؤثر بشكل كبير على الرأي العام، مما يؤدي إلى زيادة الاستقطاب الاجتماعي وتآكل الثقة في وسائل الإعلام التقليدية. كما أشارت الدراسة إلى أهمية التربية الإعلامية في تعزيز وعي الجمهور بطرق التحقق من المعلومات، وأوصت بتطوير سياسات قانونية لمواجهة انتشار الأخبار الزائفة. تلخص الدراسة في النهاية التحديات المرتبطة بمكافحة هذه الظاهرة وتقترح استراتيجيات للتقليل من تأثيرها المجتمعي.

Social media platforms have witnessed a widespread circulation of fake news, negatively affecting public opinion and social stability. This study investigates the phenomenon of fake news and its societal impacts through both analytical and field approaches. It employs a descriptive analytical methodology and is grounded in the Public Sphere Theory and Media Richness Theory to understand how fake news spreads on platforms such as Facebook and its role in shaping users' perceptions.
The study focuses on analyzing fake news in terms of its sources, objectives, and the motivations behind its fabrication. It also offers recommendations to counter this phenomenon. Various data collection methods were employed, including content analysis and field surveys distributed to 400 social media users, providing deeper insights into how users interact with fake news.
The findings reveal that fake news significantly influences public opinion, leading to increased social polarization and eroding trust in traditional media outlets. The study highlights the critical role of media literacy in raising public awareness about information verification methods and recommends the development of stricter legal policies to curb the spread of fake news. In conclusion, the study outlines the challenges of combating this issue and proposes strategies to mitigate its societal effects.
