إن الدبلوماسية هي أساس العلاقات بين الدول فهي حلقة وصل الحكومات ببعضها البلاد والحكومات برعاياها في مختلف الدول وهي وظيفة ليست بالسهلة فالمواصفات ونمط السلوك المطلوب في الشخص الدبلوماسي مواصفات دقيقة فيجب أن يكون على قدرا عاليا من الإقناع والمفاوضة بالإضافة إلى الذكاء والحنكة وأن تكون لديه القدرة على تولي القضايا الشائكة وحلها بسلاسة ومرونة عالية. ظهر مصطلح الدبلوماسية العسكرية ليعبر عن حالة الصراع المحموم الذي ساد العالم في ظل الصراع بين القوة والسياسية على النحو الذي أنتج مجالًا جديدًا للقوة العسكرية ومنها استخدامها كأحد أدوات السياسية الخارجية وتندرج الدبلوماسية العسكرية تحت وظلة الدبلوماسية الدفاعية والتي تسعى (الدبلوماسية العسكرية وزارتي الدفاع والقوات المسلحة) لتحقيق الهدف ذاته. انتهاج سياسية تعزيز الخبرات العسكرية من قبل الحكومة المصرية، لذلك يتوجب على الحكومة المصرية زيادة العمل الدبلوماسي واكتساب القيادات العسكرية أعمال التفاوض والتمثيل الدبلوماسي من شأنه أن يخلق قيادات قادرة على السير على مسار الدبلوماسية العسكرية مما يخلق أثار تصب لصالح الدولة المصرية من خلال توسيع دائرة الحلفاء والعلاقات الدولية مما يساهم في الحفاظ على الأمن القومي المصري لان القوة العسكرية والكوادر القيادية العسكرية هي المكون الأساسي التي تعول عليه الدبلوماسية العسكرية ووضع استراتيجية شاملة محددة لانتهاج الدبلوماسية العسكرية في مصر لذا يتوجب على الحكومة المصرية وضع خطة ممنهجة تتكون من مراحل معينة تخطط للتطوير دور القوة العسكرية في العمل الدبلوماسي من خلال ثلاثة مراحل تتمثل الأولى منها في تهيئة البيئة العسكرية إلى بيئة دبلوماسية للقيادات والمؤسسات العسكرية، وتأتي المرحلة الثانية في ضوء الندوات والدورات الثقافية في ضوء تبادل الخبرات العسكرية بين عدد من الدول ذات التفوق العسكري، وأخيرًا المرحلة الثالثة والتي تنصب على إشراك القيادات العسكرية في العمل الدبلوماسي من خلال تمثل جمهورية مصر العربية في عدد من المؤتمرات الدولية وغيرها من الأعمال الدبلوماسية.

It is not an easy job, as the specifications and pattern of behavior required in a diplomatic person are precise specifications. He must have a high degree of persuasion and negotiation, in addition to intelligence and wisdom, and have the ability to handle complex issues and resolve them smoothly and with high flexibility.The phrase military diplomacy arose to denote the intense confrontation that characterized the global landscape, as the interplay between power and politics generated a novel domain of military authority, and thereafter employ it as an instrument of foreign policy. Military diplomacy falls under the umbrella of defense diplomacy, in which the Ministries of Defense and Armed Forces pursue to achieve the same goal. The Egyptian government is working to improve military competence; therefore, it has to do more diplomatic work and expose military commanders to diplomatic representation and discussions in order to develop leaders who can pursue the military diplomacy route. Given that military power and military leadership cadres are the main components on which military diplomacy relies and the need to develop a comprehensive and specific strategy for pursuing military diplomacy in Egypt, So the Egyptian government must establish a systematic plan comprising specific phases aimed at developing the role of military power in diplomatic efforts. This plan can be implemented through three key stages, the first of which is to prepare the military environment into a diplomatic environment for military leaders and institutions, the second stage comes in light of seminars and cultural courses in light of the exchange of military expertise between a number of countries with military superiority, and finally the third stage, which focuses on the involvement of military leaders in diplomatic work through representing the Arab Republic of Egypt in a number of international conferences and other diplomatic works.
