يبلغ عدد الدراهم العباسية موضوع الرسالة المحفوظة بمتحف الدينار الإسلامي بمكة المكرمة 199 درهماً لم يسبق نشرهم أو دراستهم من قبل و هذه الدراهم ترجع إلي العصرين العباسي الأول و الثاني منها 98 درهماً ترجع للعصر العباسي الأول و101 درهم ترجع للعصر العباسي الثاني . و قد قسمت هذه الرسالة إلي مقدمة و تمهيد و بابين و كتالوج اللوحات و حددت دراهم كل خليفة علي حدة حسب التسلسل التاريخي ووزعت دراهم كل خليفة علي دور سكه و رتبت هذه الدور حسب التسلسل الأبجدي ثم صنفت دراهم كل دار علي حدة إلي طرز و قسمت هذه الطرز حسب التسلسل التاريخي الأقدم فالأحدث ، و بهذه الرسالة العديد من النتائج و الإضافات الجديدة.
The thesis examines 199 dirhams preserved in The Islamic Dinar Museum in Mecca and have not been published or studied before and these dirhams date back to the first and second Abbasid eras, in clouding 98 dirhams dating back to the first Abbasid era and 101 dirhams dating back to the second Abbasid era. This thesis has been divided into an introduction ,a preamble , two chapters and a catalog, That identifies the dirhams of each caliph separately according to the historical sequence and arranges the dirhams of each mint according to the alphabetical sequence then classifies them into types and divides these types according to the historical sequence from the oldest to the latest, and a conclusion.
